Ingredients:
4 Eggs
Zest of 2 Lemons
A pinch of Salt
200 g (1 cup) Sugar
100 ml (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) Vegetable Oil
100 ml (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) Water
Juice of 1 Lemon
2 tbsp Cornstarch
200 g (1 1/3 cups) Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
Gugelhupf pan with a diameter of 21 cm (8.3 inches).
Preheat the oven to 170°C (360°F).
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Decorate with powdered sugar

Thank you for your nice recipe. What is a gugelhapf pan? I am from West Bengal, India. This recipe is attractive, but if without that special pan the recipe cannot be followed, then I am sorry that I won't be able to prepare this. Wherefrom I may collect this? Amazon?

a gugelhopf is similar to a bundt pan, you can use as alternative a bundt pan or a rounded cake pan, only the shap will be different. the flavor and texture will remain the same if baked in a different type of pan. the size of the pan is a 21cm. Happy baking!

I need to ask you I found this cake a different texture from yours Firstly I Need to ask a question why you don’t sieve baking powder, flour and cornstarch together instead just adding straight into batter change the pan into a square pan does it change the texture of cake pls advice ir should use a Bundt pan

Using a different pan shape can affect the baking time; you may need a longer baking time. This cake has a juicier texture. While it's perfectly ok to mix flour with baking powder, I personally believe that adding the baking powder at the last minute results in a lighter, airy cake
