Good job on the video! I was literally searching up random CAF videos and found this one! :D I'm also from Toronto as well (Crazier point, I went to UofT St. George last year for History when I decided to drop it) and am going a slightly different route than you! I first thought about the Reserves and contacted Fort York, but then applied for Reg force and things are slightly different but very similar. I applied in April 2019 to CFRC Toronto, did my CFAT, medical, and interview in June and got my job offer on August 30th for Infantry Soldier (my second option was Combat Engineer though!), going to CFRC Toronto on Sept. 11th for Pre-Enrollment brief and off to St. Jean-sur-Richelieu Quebec for BMQ on Sept. 14th! During BMQ is when I will do my physical test (which I think is the main difference as you seem to have done yours around your CFAT). But that is my journey as well for those in the comments that wanted some sort of time frame for Regular Force as well! Subbed and Liked :D

Jaymel Bobb hey! Would you mind sharing some tips regarding BMQ? Like getting physically fit. I worry I can’t do enough pushups/sit-ups. Is there like a specific amount you’re supposed to do in a certain time? Any advice will be much appreciated! ( :
@ShonKinsley4 жыл бұрын
@@toinfiniteandbeyond3860 went through my BMQ at CFLRS back in 2018, became the best fit individual(Gold level) for the week "zero" Force test(physical test, you must pass). It was a great help such as Pull-ups and dips, 1.5miles running in 9min. Saw lots of mbrs injured and failed due to their physical weaknesse. BMQ requires your mental as well as physical strength, with that being said, your mental strength always remains strong in respect to physical strength, if you can stay strong physically, you can also remain confident of any type of training or duty. (Physical consitions always go along with mental strength) Please make yourself best physical condition before heading to st.Jean, as someone already mentioned above, week 7 and 9(Farnham) would be challenging.(wk9 better than 7 though). If yoh need any further explanations or tips, i am happy to help you. Good luck

Can I be an officer if I finished studying in a foreign country? Also, if I'm a Canadian citizen for 3 yrs thanks for the answer
@jadecheng87972 жыл бұрын
Your transcripts need to be assessed by specific organization, ie. IQAS. I remember you need to be a Canadian citizen at least 6 or 9 years. Contact your local recruiting.
@KyraNankivell2 жыл бұрын
Your degree will be assessed in some way to see if it’s appropriate & I don’t believe there’s a time requirement for how long you’ve been a Canadian citizen... but definitely call / visit an armoury and ask

Would two weeks be good to study for appitude test?
@KyraNankivell2 жыл бұрын
It depends on your personal ability to absorb information and test well. I would say try a practice test to see how much you need to learn. If you are consistently studying every day and use software to help you study, I think it's possible! Of course I recommend www.army-test.com/kyra as the software of choice, but find what works best for you!
