i use my vacuum sealer to make custom bags, just make sure to experiment a bit first because the ziploc and other brands are much thinner than proper vacuum seal bags, go a few seconds at a time and open it up early, (don’t let it go full seal cycle) wait a few seconds to let it cool before removing or you will tear your seal.

Over the past few years I have enjoyed your videos very much, and I learn so much! I think you should compile categorized videos (kitchen, bathroom, mud room, garage, closets, etc.) and create a DVD series. Would make for an excellent gift set. Specially for brides, graduates, housewarming and single-again men.

I also use aluminum foil and I put stainless steel cleaner and it works. But thanks so much for this tip on the bags. I use to put food in one bag but I always had to defrost all my food. Now I put them in sandwich bags what ever size portion I want the put in a larger freezer bag and it works out great. No more waste.

I like this idea using a gallon size zip lock bag to customize it for a tablet or small laptop to keep away scratches or water resistant if I’m going to be in a wet environment. Tip from a blacksmith. Another good reason to use an old knife...heating the steel up to the temperature indicated by the color softens (anneals) the steel. Dont expect this portion of the to hold an edge. The blade can be re-hardened but it is a procedure not recommended for the average homemaker. Nice idea for making your own bags.

Thanks for making me aware of Pink Stuff! Not sure how I missed it (I'm 74, and I thought I had used most cleaners, polishes, waxes, etc.). It's a perfect gift for my daughter-in-law. We have a running joke that I get her pink gifts for birthday, Christmas, etc. So far, pink drill, jigsaw puzzle, Swiss army knife, and now, Stuff! Very cool technique on the baggies, but doesn't it destroy the hardening of the knife blade? Not that it's a big deal, a $1 kitchen knife is fairly expendable. Nice narration on the video, good job all around!
