I'm happy to know this works with the synology nas as I have the DS920+ and was a little worried that it wouldn't be compatible as this UPS is not yet on their compatibility list. Now my biggest question is how to make both the NAS go into safe mode AND my pc shutdown, since there is only one data cable.

Have you had any problems with it so far i heard some of them have been catching fire.. reason why i am asking is cause i need a new one.

Not super excited about UPS's but my company requires me to have one. This one has a high pitched noise - fortunately not loud enough to hear it above the table. The battery also has a shelf life of 5 years. And there is a small risk of gas emissions and fire as well.

Thank for writing about your experience! I haven't noticed any whine noises but I'll keep an ear open in case it develops
