Thats what being honest means, he's not a fan boy he will talk smack and call thigs as he sees them, even if it is his favorite company, like wise he will still praise someone like apple for innovation even if he disagrees about price and right to repair polices they have. Like wise he doesn't need to like Facebook to jump on an opportunity to use their money to educate people about the technology they're using and the technology you need to use it to its fullest. Linus! I would absolutely love to see more VR related content from you guys! I have a hard time optimizing my VR setup. And I have noticed the framedrops too. Something like VRchat can run smoothly but only with 3-4 people in a single world. To the point I only ever base my rig off on how well it would handle VR. I would love to see the results of the new ryzen 3 CPU's testing in VRchat. Maybe together with the new 6800 XT? That's what I am going for!

This was a very lazy, pointless, video. Basically, "look at the recommended spec, or but a better CPU". No tests, or benchmarks, or graphs, etc? This seems more like an ad for Oculus than a proper, interesting, video.

That's just straight up stupid.... Money is money, and there was no reason not to take it, as it didn't change the subject of the video whatsoever, since it doesn't concern the Quest 2- it's literally talking about topics important for the Index/PCVR, and the quest is primarily a wireless stand-alone device, oh and yeah that dead Rift S thing that's already in the trash bin at Oculus...

Your recommendation at the end is overkill. 4 cores is scraping the barrel for just vr, and unsuitable for vr streaming, while 6 cores is good for just vr, while scraping the barrel for vr streaming And 8 cores is good enough for everything.

I've an idea. Get a motherboard (2 CPU's and 2 GPU's) specifically invented for VR headsets. Rig so that 1 cpu and 1 gpu per monitor in the VR headset (1 monitor per eye) Tie the player down to the chair so they can't remove it. Get differing cpu's and differing gpu's. Enjoy differing performance and different framerates and enjoy the crazy guy shaking in the chair.
