Well Distro is not letting us turn my hubby's channel into an AOC it keeps saying we need to upload music but we do have 3 songs uploaded through distro and 17 videos from a regular youtube channel ....

Hi Mark, Great video. I have an established channel and am poised to be monetized. I have 20 times the required number of watch hours, but am still short of subscribers, but growing. I saw a promo for an OAC tonight so I accepted, since I am already pre-releasing singles off my next album, which is audio complete. I am scripting the clips, and start filming soon. Now, when I accepted the OAC offer, I lost ALL my analytics. 😢 What should I do? Who can I talk to? I am still not monetized, so I don't think I can talk to KZbin directly. Is there a forum? Please help if you can. Not having analytics is like not having my left arm. 😢

The plays if it's linked should count towards the Distrokid pays for monthly plays shouldn't it? where as on an none OAC YT account it wouldn't, saying that the topic account counts doesn't it? I'm glad I found your channel as everything is crazy to someone only about a year into production

it's tricky - you get paid from the autogenerated videos from distrokid that go on youtube music, but not from the ones you manually upload unless your a part of the KZbin Partner Program (your channel is monetized)

I got the OAC because I was getting copyright strikes on my live videos where I created beats live well before I distributed them... When I got the OAC I do not get those copyright strikes...
