You are right👍👍👍 I have been making 100% whole wheat bread without adding SUGAR or any other bread flour, but my dough still can rise properly.

Thank you for watching - yes, no need to add sugar in your homemade bread if you don't want to. The yeast get all they need from the flour!

I especially appreciate your video on why your bread cracks because mine cracks continually so I’m going to try that tip next time thank you.🍞❤️

Thank you for watching and for your comment, I'm glad my videos have been helpful. And that's great that you've started baking great bread at home - what type of loaf do you like to bake?

Thanks for that. I'm a novice at this and am so confused by the different approaches. What do you say to the idea of putting your dough in a low oven to help or accelerate the rise? I don't really like this idea but is there anything against it?

Thanks for watching, I'm glad this was useful. You don't need to put your dough somewhere very warm to help it rise - sometimes this can actually dry it out or stop the yeast. An oven switched off but with the oven light on could be OK if it's a cooler day - I talk more about this here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6KpnoaJeZd5nrcsi=doC9Glmnq-OmsijX
