mine is not seemingly. 32 years old 3 hernia on neck, spinal stenosis, 15° scoliosis, lordosis , undiagnosed probable hernia there too, sacral pain, flat feet 😢 I am suffering for 1 year, it started with higher back pain and all those stuff grafually caused pain after their diagnosis.. I dont know how to live more like this. even 1 year was hard

Show that to Squat University. According to them, bracing the core and therefore 'stabilizing' the spine is the only reason the core exists and its sole purpose

@@mcculloughmethod6912 I've seen so many videos / shorts by SU in which he reacts to all kinds of ab movements and says "it would be better to train them this or that way, since the core is supposed to stabilize the spine" etc. In many of those videos, he doesn't once mention that this is supposed to be put in the context of lifting

Squat u is too one dimensional and simplified lifter/lift focused not necessarily always chronic issues or more complex ones. Don’t forget to buy my shoes btw

There’s a commonly held belief that NOT bracing your core during daily activities will lead to low back pain or contribute to the persistence of low back pain. Bracing your core can be helpful for performance purposes in the gym. It can also be temporarily helpful during certain activities when you’re experiencing acute low back pain (as a way to alter a currently painful movement strategy). However, it’s not something that needs to be consciously performed during daily activities like walking. Your body will naturally do it if it’s needed, like when you’re carrying bags of groceries in one hand. Sometimes people with low back pain actually benefit from consciously relaxing their core or doing breathing exercises because their back starts to feel so tense and rigid from trying to unnecessarily brace all day long.
