I swapped the gearing in my diesel on 38” maxis tires to 4.10 and it’s not quite enough. I certainly wouldn’t recommend towing any real weight with your setup but I’m glad you’re happy

I have 33s on my Gladiator Sport with 6 speed manual. It drives fine with no load but when I tow my 16 ft aluminum boat it struggles up even slight hills. I have to shift down to 4th gear to climb. I can't imagine even putting 35s or 37s on without re-gearing. Nice looking rig!

I too have a gladiator with a 6 speed manual 3.73 with 33s. I also had an automatic gladiator with the 3.73 completely different in the power. The auto had a lot more get up and go but shifted constantly from 7-8 on the highway. I Will definitely be regearing the manual to 4.10. I never leave 4 gear unless I'm on the highway going 70 mph or faster.
@shmohsin-lasvegas Жыл бұрын
@@adamweitzel4071 Having been a former MT Rubicon Gladiator owner, 4.56 would be better. You will find use for 6th gear. :) With 4.10s and 33, you would be able to use 6th only going on downhill in my experience.

There is no way 3.73s are adequate for 37s. I put 37s on a Rubicon with 4.10s and the shifting was not good. 4.88s completely fixed the issue. Yes it has enough power to move the vehicle but the shifts will be awful.
