Day 8 - Do you need to learn how to read music to play Spanish Guitar? 📄
The answer to this is personal and depends on your specific goals.
My short answer is NO. Especially if you're learning as a busy adult with the rest of life going on. If you barely have enough time to practice, then why add a new time snagging skill to learn to the mix. My suggestion is to play as much as you can, rather than try to learn something that isn't completely necessary. TAB is a simplified version of music notation. And now a days, you can find almost any piece in either music notation or TAB.
