That's how you're supposed to play. q - pinky, w - ring finger, e - middle finger, r - index finger, thumb - spacebar. Then pinky hits tab and a, and index and middle fingers can hit d and f. You need space to snap back to your champ, unless you're playing lock screen like a pleb. I use my palm to hit ctrl, since my palm rests on the ctrl key anyway. Ordinarily when you type, you use 4 fingers, asdf, so qwer is just one row up. a is one of the most used letters in the english language, but no one complains that they can't hit the a key when typing, so presumably people's pinkys work just fine..

Technically, if we're only talking about qwer I only use 2 fingers. Pinky on shift, ring on A (to attack move),middle on w, and pointer on E. My thumb rests on space bar. Also, my trinket is set to R (supp main) and ult is on middle mouse button. I know I'm weird xD

The reason of the three fingers players is because you move using those three fingers in a lot of games, thus we are used to place them this way on the keyboard

Usually if youve been playing games before LoL, youd be used to 3 fingers on WAD and your pinky on ctrl for crouching or other shit. So just shifting 2 fingers up by 1 key is a lot more natural than completely changing the way your hand rests on the keyboard

Ring finger = Q/A/1 Middle finger = W/S/2 Index finger = E/R/D/F/G/T/3/4/5 Thumb is for centering camera with space and alt for smart pings. Pinky is for tab menu and ~key which I have bound to item slot for control wards Then of course there's that area of you palm at the base of your pinky which is used exclusively for hitting CTRL. oh, and the right-hand thumb for mouse binding.
