Do you prefer the Furch(copy) or the Martin D-28(original) Dreadnought?

sir i want to buy a versatile guitar around 1000 euro. i was thinking of furch blue ga ,martin ooo15 , faith blood moon venus, alvarez masterwork elite and avian songbird 2a . it would be very help if u help me choose the best one.i mainly play unplugged

I would go with the Furch Blue series. The Blue OM-CM and the Blue G-CM are excellent. If you like a petite body and more projection, go with the OM or if you want a bigger body and more bass, go with the G-CM. Choosing a guitar is a long process, so take your time and try as many as you can.

@@LEGEND-or4ib You are welcome! I haven’t had the opportunity to try an Avian, so I don’t know. Michael Bashkin founded avian to make more affordable instruments in luthier style. Bashkin is one of the finest luthiers on the planet. I checked the Avian website, and it doesn’t mention Bashkin’s name now, which is not a good sign. Earlier I saw a video of Jason Kostal endorsing an Avian guitar. He is also one of the finest luthiers in the world. Short answer: I don’t know. :) :)

Both are pretty awesome rosewood dreads. The main difference is not in the quality but the philosophy of the sound. The Furch is a bit more modern, with a bit more high sparkle and focused bass. The Martin is more on the vintage side, with a creamier mellow sound. In this case, I liked the Martin more. It had a little more volume and sustain, but just a little bit. I think Furch makes more consistent quality, too, not every Martin is great as the one in the video, but any given Furch sounds and plays pretty awesome. For the money, the Furch is almost unbeatable, I think.

Furch shapes a different tone than Martin. Martin usually goes for a darker, mellower tone while Furch guitars are shaped to bring out the treble sparkle a bit more. That said, Furch guitars are much less expensive when you compare them to a Martin with similar specs
