Do you really need to fit a heat pump?

Yeah, not convinced by the government pushing heat pumps, ultimately we need cheaper electricity from the grid, the government need to make it publicly owned again and not having shareholders taking profits, and invest in wind and solar farms. Also if the public need to move away from gas it’s got to be a cheap alternative, not £15k for a heat pump installation, it has to compete with a 2-3k boiler replacement.

Look at the table for countries with the most wind farms, they are paying the highest for energy. Channel called ‘climate realism with Paul burgess’ is well worth a watch, explains it all better than I ever could.

It's a thermal store you fucking mug, go do your research what temperature a thermal store heat source should be kept at.
