The reason for FM23's delay on PS5 will never be public but I can tell you it was not an issue with the stability or quality of the PS5 build of the game at the time!

Thanks for watching the video Jack @workthespace, well based on the Xbox version being playable I'd agree with that statement as they are the same game, but the way it was handled did draw parallels with the FM25 problems and obviously the way they communicated the delays etc. Whereas there obviously is a universal problem with the FM25 but I bow to your more superior knowledge with your Game Dev experience, your videos about the delays and opinions on FM25 have been well put forward, measured and well informed.

This was definitely a nice history lesson. I wasn't aware of a lot of this. I also might not have been aware of FM console back then either. With this delay it's a lot of things. I have hope for FM25, but people in the comments of the delay video were talking about how delays don't necessarily lead to a polished product come launch. You basically gave an example of that with FM Console being rough with it was finally released. Still, we'll see how this goes. I'm not gonna lie, I am disappointed that they didn't at least adhere to the only date on the roadmap and give us a look at the women's game this week.

Yeah I'm just trying to showcase it has happened before and although it wasn't a great game, it was playable, don't forget a lot of PC players weren't fan of FM23 but FM24 was a marked improvement. I agree even if there wasn't gameplay it would have been nice to have at least had them showcase what work they've done to bring women football into the game, but I guess that from a PR aspect would be dwarfed by the delay announcement backlash so hopefully once the furore calms down we'll get more information. Don't forget there's a Forbes article and there was a press junket on the introduction to the women's game last weekend before the delay was announced but those who attended confirmed that there was no gameplay shown.

Was really hoping for a bit of a run down on how good/bad CM4 was on its release after seeing the intro, cannot find anything about this anywhere and although were 20years on, it could be a decent yard stick for what we should expect in march. Still a great video though!

well I was conscious of this with the thumbnail to show it was FM23 because there's a lot of parallels in the the way its been handled with FM25 but its certainly something I want to look into there's a video by Brazilian Fury on the history of Football Manager I highly recommend!

Really appreciate the support! Well I'm doing Console content technically just not the normal format and I got plenty more to rollout because originally we weren't hearing anything till November! so I've got a few ideas regardless of the delay.
