Walk away and take a break is some of the best advice ever. Gives you a chance to clear your mind and look at it with a different perspective. Also, a great craftsman is not perfect, he just know how to fix hiccups.

Thanks for sharing this and your fix. Most channels wouldn't acknowledge a mistake but that's reality in woodworking.

This video demonstrates one of the many differences between a great instructor and a mediocre "influencer". As you said, the chances of anyone noticing the change in drawer faces and top reveal might be small, but Identifying and explaining mistakes, as well as the fixes, can help others avoid the same errors.

Thanks for sharing and showing your issue. One thing though. I think woodworkers and diyers to readily point out mistakes. I think sometimes we think our project is somehow not as good due to a mistake. Most people never notice. You pointing it out was a learning opportunity for all of us. A friend tiled their bathroom. When he showed it to me he pointed out the one mistake he made. I had noticed but would have never said anything. Nobody else had noticed… Have you done a video one the Rolair Systainer compressor in the background? I would enjoy a video on that should you get a chance.

I look forward to every video in this series! Question sir. How did you attach the face on the top drawer? You can’t use the trigger clamp method on the top drawer can you? Or maybe I missed something. I hope you and your family have an amazing Christmas sir! Stay sharp

I use a small strip of double sided adhesive tape to temporarily fix the drawer fronts. I use window packers for spacing. A typical set has 1mm to 8mm. So you could easily combine the height you need.

Hi Sedge, I note that you have mounted the mitre saw on top of the cabinet rather than dropping it so the top of the table is level with the cabinets each side. Why did yoy do it this way?

Or you can start with a good, free to use plan. Blum process 32 pdf file provides all dimensions you need. Using Blum drawer adjusters will give you additional flexibility for drawer fronts placement.
