Great video, I really like the inside round over detail……

Yes, the detail makes a big difference!

I really like the look of half round edges on birch ply. For drawer boxes, i do this before assembly. i prefer the crisp interface aesthetic, but doing half round does blend better.

In the shops I worked at, we would rout all of the drawer stock with what we called a thumbnail profile bit. We would make the front and back of the drawer box slightly taller to not have weird transitions in the corners.
@Rene-Hernandez2 ай бұрын
Did you mean the sides slightly taller? Front and back should be between the sides

@@Rene-Hernandezif you have half blind dovetails, front and backs would be taller

Can you tell us more about the extension wings and how they work on a station such as this? Is their height adjustable? Thanks for great videos! Willy from Freeville.

Just curious, any reason you don’t use dominos for the finish end panel? I’ve always use biscuits, but recently got the Domino machine so I am inclined to use it for my next cabinet with finished end panels.

Looking great, never thought to round over the inside. Off topic though, roughly how big is your workshop?

Very cool detail! My shop is about 800 sq ft.

What is the pencil you are using? I’ve been trying to find a mechanical pencil that I like for a long time.
SEDGE hello… I bought about $1000 of Brilliant 2 sandpaper 5inch for $150 on EBay. 80 grit to 400. Problem is the hole patern is different the current Festool pad. Is there a simple solution? I have an arbor press that I have been punching new holes to use the supply. Paper seems to work great. Thanks in advance.
@sedgetool2 ай бұрын
some of the outer holes should line up...just not all of them..still should be good dust extraction

Great videos! Since, in your upper cabinet video, you capture the thin back, how do you hang the cabinet without screws showing. Perhaps I missed part of the video?

I drill through the 1/4 back into the nailer into a stud...I cover up the screw holes with Fast Caps...
