Good afternoon my friend! WOW, that worked out great! I think that’s a legit option! Off the ground, comfortable, packable, and just works! Great video and thanks for sharing! Take care!!

I am really liking the setup myself. Seems to be solving several issues many of us older / thicker people face when camping lol. Thanks so much for the support brother.

Absolutely enjoyed this video. Thank you for posting it. And to answer your question; yes, I sure do test my equipment before heading to the woods with it overnight. I call it a ”quick camp”, and it usually takes place out in the yard or just beyond the barn lot. That way it’s a close, controlled setting that makes hoofing it back to the house simple in the event of a major failure. I guess I’m just not one for winging it or taking chances with gear that’s new to me. I bet you’re going to love that UCO candle lantern. Those 10 hr. candles really last closer to 12 or13 hours which is nice. And that glass tube is actually designed to slide down inside its housing so you can light the wick without removing the candle. Then you can just slide it back up again when lit. Cool setup, Randall! Best to you from Indiana.

Awesome to hear from you again. Glad you enjoyed this one. Guess I am just allergic to instructions haha. Thanks for the heads up on the lantern.

Awesome vid. That is a nice light weight setup you have. And I would say to anyone reading the comments that having a little set up like that would be nice in case of some kind of emergency where you might have to leave your home. That would give you a nice place to rest and take some stress off the situation.

Thank you Sir. It would say it is not for the Ultra-lite crowd but for just about anyone else, it's great. I have spent the last three years thinking of the "Best for Me" shelter / sleep system. I think I might have found it.

Im glad to see someone else who has discovered the value of the Lightfighter on a cot. I use mine on a Teton XL cot with the Teton sleeping pad. In warmer weather I just use it without the fly. I set it up under a tarp. These are great tents.

It is an amazing tent. A bit on the short side but any normal sized human will love it. Thanks for stopping by with a comment! LoL now I'm going to look up the Teton XL Cot.

Yes Sir! i treat all my gear, especially tents and shelter parts as 2 is 1 and 1 is none, especially until i test 'em. so i will take a solid tent, and a new one, sleep in the good one, and set up the new one, doing this a few times in rain. until i decide if i feel comfortable with it's performance, then start using it and have my main as a backup until i'm 100% sure, and it has long term use, see how it breaks in, if any repair or tweaking is needed. at some point you know it's reliable enough and memorized everything about it, have the bags squared away, everything designated etc.

That is a really solid way to test your gear. Those who are not safe, tend to end up sorry. Thanks for stopping by and posting your methods!
