@•桃全• unfortunately yes. i used to be part of an agency (i cant mention which bcz its part of an agreement not to say even after u quit) and i knew a few other trainees. a lot of people quit because their siblings and friends from other small companies would have to have s*x with people with lots of money. the companies would start guilt tripping and saying stuff like 'if you have s*x once your group can become. you wouldn't want to let the whole team down as the leader?'. it was really sad to see. i was only 13 at the time and it was pretty shocking. a lot of the people also used to criticize my appearance and weight a lot and urge me to get plastic surgery when i was older. (i was 44kg, 170cm and was just lean). they also didn't like the fact that i was dark for a korean and tried to get me to white-tan. i suggest if somebody does want to work in the idol industry or has a passion, that they work in a large company (not yg pls).

In the better choices she would have been full in debt, working her ass to pay them and maybe homeless or renting a really cheap appartement. 1 year in a kpop idol agency cost around 10,000 dollars. The trainee don't pay them back until they debut (meaning all the money they get from their idols works is gived to the agency meaning that they dot nothing for atleast 2 years) or until they decide to quit the agency. So imagine being there for 5 years since you're in high school and decide to quit, meaning giving back 50,000 dollars

Agreed, I think I remember( don't quote me on this) Tae Hyung was seen at a young age, like elementary years I think, and because he was good looking he was picked up by an agent. Kpop idols are so perfect but that's what makes it dangerous. It normalizes it to the younger impressionable kids who in turn want to be as perfect as them. Which then keeps the toxic cycle of big companies literally manufacturing people like cattle. Don't get me wrong some of them are actually truly talented but what they had to sacrifice to get there is just sad. Like Kpop idols don't even get to see their family half the time, kpop is amazing but it's scary.

Losing weight doesn't mean that you dont eat, it's just eating in a healthier way rather than having snacks or other instant food. A slimmer body image does makes your dance more good looking. IT REALLY DOES. Your movements will be more powerful, sharp and clean. Even Bae YooJung told her dancers to lose weight

All English comments are mostly focusing on the plastic surgery part, but the fact that she had to do *that* to get more diamonds breaks my heart even more. No young artist should have to experience such a traumatic thing just to fulfill their dream. Sure, plastic surgery is fine but if there is anytime where a person feels uncomfortable in the situation, they should really just quit it. I'm not sure if r×pe happens in these situations but I'm sure it could and does in certain circumstances, and it should really be put out there if it does happen. So for those who don’t get it, when she clicked on the “get an idol agency” she was trapped. For ever. She had 290 diamonds left. She payed for all the surgery’s and stuff, so she didn’t have enough money to leave the company or debut at the end. BUT, even if she *didn’t* use her diamonds she STILL couldn’t afford to leave OR debut. So that’s the trap, when she clicked on “get an idol agency” she had no way out anymore. That’s why at the end she sold herself for money, she didn’t want to continue and become an idol anymore, and she couldn’t leave after all that had been done, so what I think is that she debuted and acted like nothing happened or idk😢. You can hear a click at the end when the light turn off, she chose something but it’s for the viewer to decide and what they think happened. It’s so sad to even *THINK* that is has happened to innocent young girls. It breaks my heart. Just to make their dream come true, little did they know death was waiting for them. So for all of those who want to become “idols”. Don’t be so quick about it... its not just, *omg I’ll sign in a company and I will become so famous and my life will be so good after* no! Think about all the stress that you have to go through, leaving your family, staying up really late at night dancing or singing, maybe not even debuting at the end, getting body shamed, not being able to eat whatever you want and honestly I could keep on saying things till tomorrow.
