This is a myth in the Philippines and the same reason you do NOT see young attractive Filipina's dating older Filipino men. You wil never see this. The one thing an old Western has that an old Filipino does not is money. I live in Baguio and I am married to a Filipina. Everybody laughs at this silly myth that young Filipina's are blind and somehow...someway...just love that old wrinkly skin, big belly, and saggy face. Sure, with money you can get what you want...but this is true in any country. YOu can get what you want in America if you have enough money. The old man will use the Filipina for her youth so far game when the old Western man gets used for his money. You play the game....you roll the dice. But the one thing there is not here in the Philippines is crying....no crying when you pay for attention and you pay for her youth. Expect to be played.

I am from Surigao City we are used to see westeners because our City is a tourist area. We are close to Siargao where lots of foreigners visited area. 1. Filipina like older guy for a father figure. 2. Older guy is their safe harbor. 3. Financial provider very common. 4. They thought older guy wont cheat but I dont think so. 5. Atm for jobless, and lazy Filipinas. All in all old is gold. Every woman has their own preferences who they will get involved. Has a different motives why they want the older guys. I did Manila for 4 months, and Cebu IT Park now and can get all the dates I want with lots of 25-40 without pay to play. However, you nailed it in your comments. Be attractive, stylish, interesting, funny, fit, but muscular not needed, and put them first and be honest. . Listen to them talk, ask questions about them, and they love to probe a older mans mind and learn.This is educated BPO girls that mostly are from the province originally. Interesting presentation, but one thing that needs to be mentioned is the class of Filipino you're dealing with. Well off Filipinas are not interested in a relationship with foreigners. They prefer someone from their own society and social strata, just like girls everywhere else. So you're options are girls from poorer families with fewer options and lots of them are single mothers with few good local prospects. I could say a lot more, but I'll leave it at this and just remind guys to be realistic and realize that women are the same everywhere. You may have some advantages in poorer countries as a wealthy Western man, with a certain class of women which will give you options that you won't have at home. You can tell yourself any myth you want but eventually reality catches up with everyone and the closer your expectations are to reality, the better off you'll be.

Younger women are not attracted to older men. The only reason they go out with older men is for the economic security. If you did not attract younger women in your own country than clearly young women were not attracted to you. The answer to this behaviour is poverty. Poverty is sending these women towards older men. This is the sad state of affairs. College diploma mills are often regarded as the means to level up for degrees and jobs that are not there. The job market is structured to accept college graduates incompatible to what they plan to do. It is a flaw which I hope will change in the future. A older man is expected to be mature and financially stable. He should not have vices and believe in God. Younger Filipinas have no issues with an age difference if he is going to commit to a relationship that will lead to marriage and children. That said you do not want a Filipina that has gone from foreigner to foreigner, there’s a reason for that. She will be very protective of you if you’re worth it. Make sure about her marital status and how many children she has, stay far away from the ones that are married but say they’re separated that’s a big problem and you can end up in a bad situation. If she has children realize her children come first, no exceptions, you will be expected to put them before everything in your hard earned retirement years. If I were over there I’d want to meet someone in person. No dating app. A little body language key, that I think matters and is helpful to identify genuine interest. Its important to add that a lot of people are doing a lot of generalization. To the gentleman who say it's purely transactional. This is 100% not true. Most women are truly looking for a real/true/loving relationship. My filipina has gone to great lengths to assure me that it's "me" and not the money she is interested in. i'd have to disagree with you about western thinking. Sure lots of people in the media there have big age gaps, but lots of places in rural Canada you can find large age gaps. My sister was in her early twenties dating a man in his fifties, my mothers best friend married a guy in his late 50s when she was 18. Lots of rural ethnic communities also have large age gap relationships. Mennonites, Hutterites, Ukrainians are just some good examples of that. For the most part most girls in these communities don't want to marry a young farm laborer they want someone that owns the farm. In China most young women marry older men. They have a criteria for suiters. You have to have a house, a car and good job. Being handsome has no value to them.

It's a personal thing, but I'm uncomfortable about these guys of 60, 70, who come to the Philippines and find a girl of 21! I'm not saying these relationships are not genuine. I think many of them are, but come on, it's a bit weird. I'm in a relationship with a Filipina lady but she's the appropriate age for me at 38. We get on really well and we relate as lovers and friends, not father-daughter sort of stuff. I don't think is wrong. After my mother died and in later years, my father met a girl of 30 years old. And it was genuine love! He wasn't looking for it, though. It just happened. That's cool. But trend of really old guys going out to find a really young girlfriend is a bit strange to me. I am 61 and spend most of my time with younger people. I am in decent shape...but ain't wearing a Speedo. Had dinner with a 24 year old. We do sleep together. If course I pay for dinner, but she drives a nice car than I do and owns her own home. Thursday having dinner with a 35 year old, her kids, her parents. I am older than her dad. Lots of comments here mentioned many reasons why Filipinas might be attracted to older foreign men, and while those reasons may apply to some, they don't apply to all. It really depends on the personality of the individual. Of course, financial stability is important, and it's something I value as I am financially stable myself. However, my financial stability might not be the same as that of foreigners, as our standards in monetary terms are different. Personally , I look for older men because many of them prefer to live a quiet, peaceful life and are content being loved and cared for by a Filipina, no matter what they are, or simply because there's what we call a "mutual match," which aligns with what I want. Regarding having a mixed-race child, it's something I would consider a blessing, although I think it might be too late for me now.😉 Additionally, I find foreigners more attractive and I feel more secure with them compared to Filipinos, who are often not as stable and sometimes have the tendency to take advantage in various ways. If you respect the girl and are kind, that goes a long way with a Filipina. If you treat children with love and show respect to the girls parents, learn a little Tagalog and/or Bisaya, don't get angry in public, you will be liked. Be confident, work out some, watch your weight, dress nicely, etc. Filipinas will like you. Yes, and if they like you because you are worldly and educated, wonderful. If I was dating girls in the province and planned on living there, I would rent so if the girls in a town create problems, you can move to somewhere else until you find the right fit (place and girl) so maybe you can put down roots.
