I never really understood why some foreigners feel obligated to support the Filipina's family financially. Yes, it's part of the culture here for the child to support or help his/her family, esp. aging parents. But if the Filipina really loves you, she wouldn't obligate you to do this but will find ways herself to help her family. If she forces you, then she doesn't really love you. So that's obviously a sign to move on and find someone else.
