Hi Catherine. I live in extreme south Louisiana (60 miles from the Gulf of Mexico). We were directly impacted by Hurricane Ira and have limited internet access, only a few minutes a day. No cell phones, no landline telephone or cable and are surviving on generator power. You made my day by posting a video. Our internet won’t be available much longer today, so I am so happy I was able to watch. Trying hard to remember I am enough, but it is extremely difficult on day 5 post Ida. God bless you for all you do to bring smiles to our faces.

That vinegar in the wash trick is gold! I have been using vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser for my towels for years. This week, I forgot a load of towels in the washer, and remembered they were in there 3 days later. My laundry room gets very warm in summer, and I was fully expecting them to be mildewed and requiring another wash, but since i had used vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser, they still smelled nice! The vinegar gets the last of the detergent out of your fabrics, and it's the detergent that spoils and causes the icky smell.

Kathryn, I have been viewing your videos for a couple of years and have always been impressed by your ideas, production values and short videos. You have been my favorite KZbinr. Those aspects are all present here. But one of the things I have respected you for is that until recently you have not had sponsored videos. I didn't have a problem with sponsorships such as Skillshare because they were narrowly focused and did not take over the entire video and people deserve to make a living with what they provide to us viewers. But this video was an eight minute commercial for WalMart. I've always thought you had very high credibility which I think could be in danger with videos such as this. I do wish you the best and thank you for the many ideas you have given me.

I started using walmart plus during covid to cut down on my exposure to others. I absolutely love it and still use it. For me it's worth it..no hassle, no gas, no trying to find a decent parking space and no lines. Super easy to use. Great value for me. Love all those b&g containers. I have some future big plans for them. And Katherine ...you are enough too. Everytime I hear that my heart just swells up. Thank you for all you do.

we moved in with my mother in law jan of 2020. i went thru her kitchen and organized it and we purged items that we had too many multiples from after merging 2 kitchens. i decanted flours, sugars, etc into labeled jars. organized the bowl cabinet so that everything fits. it was so nice. she still jams the bowls in any which way she can get them, regardless if the door will shut or not. and the bags of flour and sugar are placed, open, next to their empty jars. no matter how many times i go behind and straighten, she refuses to take the extra step.

If you get frozen fruit, (or leftover watermelon) un thaw the fruit, and in your blender mix water with portions of the fruit till you’ve used it all, and pour into small ice cube trays. Copper will love them!!
