I have an idea for lore. Doc finds his base gone, and his kingdom fell. In pure anger, he sets off on his own and goes off to a faraway land where he can be the true ruler. The hermits celebrate that they finally defeated the dictator and live in harmony for a few weeks, but then on one fateful day, the whole server shakes. The castle that they built next to the old rusty flagpole starts to crumble. Then, in one massive shockwave, the entire ground and the castle crumble and fall into a massive hole, and inside of it is a huge office building that has a very similar resemblance to a former hermit’s building style. The sky turns red, and lasers rain from above, destroying the new hermitopian buildings, causing the hermits to flee. Then, from the rubble, doc emerges saying “I’ve come to reclaim my world, the perimeter is back.” Now, with hermit craft back in docs possession, things are feeling grim. He is forcing laws and restricting building without the proper guidance of the perimeter, only allowing shops under his registration, and only focused on continuing the perimeter. The hermits need to vanquish him once and for all. Mumbo grian and scar return to their old tree, looming down at the battlefield of the bots. They have a plan. Scavenging through the wreckage of the bottercup, they find the parts to make a weapon, a mega weapon designed for one purpose, to destroy doc. When they sneak back home, they hide the construction under their base, and devise a plan. All the hermits are now in on it. They will blow a hole in the fabric of the server into the void, causing the perimeter to be sucked in. Then, they will cover it up and seal him out of the server once and for all. When doc flies over for a check in on the hermits progress, they uncover the massive weapon. Disgusted at their disobedience, he tells them to take it down at once, but then, grian mumbo and scar fly in and press a button triggering the weapon. A hole is blown into the void. The hermits grasp on things to avoid being sucked in, but doc was less fortunate. He gets sucked in, and as he does, the hermits seal the hole and vowed to never open it again. It’s a little overboard but I think it’s cool 🤷‍♀️

When they filled his base with chickens, he moved the chickens to Grian's base. I'm waiting to see if he creates some kind of automated world mover to move the 500x500 slab of terrain off the perimeter and into the sky above Scarland, Grian's and Mumbo's bases. At build limit, naturally.

Placing the carpet bombers about 60-70 blocks above the forest would make sure no TNT can go low enough to damage his stuff. He only has to manually remove the area around the flagpole.

To be honest, Doc really should hurt other player's bases. His base wasn't touched, it's perfectly fine underground, they even left holes around areas that protruded higher than normal ground level, aka the flag pole so nothing messed it up. Honestly, before any of the other Hermits mentioned it, i was thinking under ground it looks really really neat. I think the only thing I'd change is lighting it up a bit so mobs don't spawn, don't want it to become an unintentional mob farm. Hope Doc isn't that upset.
