@@CodyRallMD lol your positive thinking reminds me of my dad; unfortunately due to many factors, the main one being lobbying for federal along with media many other less drastic ways of coercing gov, the public has much less power than we are made to think. But your right we are just to dumb or don’t care as a group to try and attack the actual mechanisms of control vs. saying vote for the right candidate and effectively dividing the country over really no difference. Focused on polarized items that only affect a fraction of the pop and have to real effect other than dividing.

I'm very interested in the fifth amendment implications of these devices. Will judges be able to issue warrants for your mind? What if, in the future our minds and our devices begin to blur together? I see a wide range for abuse beyond the commercial aspect, which they are quick to act on, but government overreach is slow to be addressed by lawmakers.

I love brain slugs and hypno-toad of my own free will. 2014 Harvard study showed how magnetic stimulation of your head could affect your moral reasoning and the amount of regret you feel after making a choice that harms another. I'm not saying your wearable device is doing that, but to poo poo the idea that anything you wear on your head could possibly control your thoughts/emotions is just naive. And there are the unintended consequences when you are using new technology and people do not understand the systems they will affect even if there is nothing nefarious at play. I'm sure the watch companies that used radium didn't mean to give all those people bone cancer but they were willing to collect their money for the product until they were stopped from that process. Where is Philip K Dick when you need him? I'm not sure if my reaction to a crime scene will be neurotypical.

@CodyRallMD Silent Sound Spread Spectrum technology, colloquially "S-Quad" is ubiquitous throughout the United States. Although it presumably functions by subliminal influencing mechanisms, the signals are audible to a segment of the population. Anyone with an audio recorder and the proper knowledge in spectral audio processing however can boost the signal and convert it to an audible format. This signal relies on various sources of ambient environmental noise as a carrier frequency(ies) to deliver intelligible speech to every inhabitable space where human activity might be probable. This includes every home, business, public or private building and even in more remote regions and the spaces between. The content of the "messages" range from seemingly random conversational excerpts (i.e. interviewee answering questions about different methods of child therapy) which is perceived in a third-person observational perspective as in overheard or eavesdropping to aggressive degrading statements of a harassing nature (example; "That guy is such a f**king idiot," or "My God, you are really f**king annoying"). The negative statements are often taken personally by those who can hear them and constitutes as part of a weaponized demoralization campaign; essentially psychological warfare operations. One can imagine that for the rest of us despite being inaudible for the common subject, this form of "subliminal messaging" still affects us to a degree (most effective to the subconscious during periods of altered brain activity such as sleep or other similar states of somnolence). If you've ever heard of the targeted individual phenomenon, you may have also heard about "voice to skull" which is a colloquialism for the technology/weaponry commonly used against those who are undergoing such attacks associated with TIs. Although much of the evidence to support these claims is anecdotal, the methods of obtaining this evidence are demonstrably reproducible. There are also mentions of the Technologies in older official literature once available online but have since been removed for obvious reasons. While attribution cannot be directly linked to government agency, there's still plenty of secondary associations which can be implied with considerable reasoning. There's a whole lot more to it of course but I cannot cite all of the sources which contain credible and relevant information about this topic.

Thanks for the comment Jacob, that's a good question. I don't think anyone knows the answer to that for sure yet. The fMRI studies that track blood flow for image recreation need AI models for each individual person. So I think it is pretty variable. Brings more meaning to the statement "It's all in the eye of the beholder". I am going to Paris to see a brain image projection art show in October and will make an episode on it then. The devices of 20 to 30 years ago were full pads wires and gel. So not so easy to prepare as the ones on Cody's channel or the apps by Dan Winter's. As a meditator, I’m curious if you think there is a way to for an individual to use the brainwaves of someone like Eckhart Tolle to achieve levels of enlightenment?
@CodyRallMD
@CodyRallMD 27 күн бұрын
Yes I've always wondered what certain figures like Eckhart Tolle would look like for brainwave patterns and see if we can replicate through neurofeedback. I would imagine he would have low levels of Beta in the frontal lobes since he is so present.

@squamish4244 27 күн бұрын
@@CodyRallMD The Dalai Lama once told a neuroscience conference that meditating five hours a day is hard work, and that neuroscience should be explored to its full potential to offer a shortcut to enlightenment. His exact words were: _"If it was possible to become free of negative emotions by a riskless implementation of an electrode - without impairing intelligence and the critical mind - I would be the first patient."_ The Dalai Lama is considered a geshe, or scholar, of great renown in Tibetan Buddhism. He has consulted with many of the great 50, 60 or even 70-year retreatants and many other masters of spectacular accomplishents, as well as studied countless texts going back millennia. So for him to say this means a great deal indeed. Even moreso when you consider that he said this when he was already over 70 years old, at an age when many Buddhist practitioners are set in their ways. He is very pragmatic as a Buddhist of his generation who grew up without electricity or indoor plumbing in old Tibet. A lot moreso than even a lot of Boomer Buddhists a generation younger than him who are weirdly resistant to this supposedly 'revolutionary' or 'controversial' idea. It's not revolutionary or controversial to us, but we grew up surrounded by digital technology. We have taken it for granted for as long back as we can remember, and neither of us is a young man...but young enough.
@squamish4244
@squamish4244 27 күн бұрын
It looks like we can, yes. Basically, we can reverse-engineer enlightenment, and with technologies a lot more powerful than those that are currently accessible in the consumer electronics market. Focused ultrasound is being investigated for many conditions, including mental disorders, addiction, pain management and movement disorders. But it is also being researched for its ability to drastically accelerate spiritual practice. Right now, that research concerns using it to modulate the basal ganglia to produce what one 50-year meditator called "the deepest state of mental quiet I have ever experienced". This sort of thing will be available as a 'helmet' anyone can buy and wear eventually to entrain their brains for them, although for the foreseeable future it will remain in hospitals, as it is being studied for its use in very serious conditions like OCD, depression and addiction.

So I would just like to point something very important out. There are people out there with homicidal ideations, having a thought does not make you act on it even wanting to act on it does not make you act on it. Now we would be in big trouble if this technology had the ability to affect the impulse centers of the brain because they are the reason you are able to choose not to act on something. We both know that the police would force you to act because they want to arrest you. And we both know companies would force you to buy because they want to make money off of you. In the end the only people that would be being hurt by experiencing homicidal ideations while these tech exist, are the people who have the ideation and society is using that to falsely claimed the ideation in and of itself made them commit the crime when that is never and has never been the case. I expected the psychologist to be the one who told you this, seeing as very psychologist who works with the military they should have known better

Look up AnyMAL and semantic decoders! This tech is like 20 years old, they just have to slow-roll the general population, so that the insurance and policy makers can control the markets through strategic releases to certain segments...actual market chaos isn't good for business, manufactured industry-wide disruptions can be VERY lucrative. Most things are scheduled for de-classification after 20-30 years. There are groups that monitor those yearly releases, and then throw a start-up together with based on "new" technological breakthroughs. All orchestrated and controlled. Humans and persons are lower classes. They do not understand that these, along with many other words of legalese, are being used against them by pretend officials, who are essentially enforcing fake laws. Order followers are scared nazis! I do not comply or answer questions. Once you start, they presume that gives them authority (non-verbal contracts) and you LOSE your rights. Just like they claim that they stole their physical work because they're not physically capable of drawing the images themselves because of their hands damage. Just great it looks like our hosts nightmare of literally losing all of their rights because they're impairments get worse and people don't care about their issues they only care about punishing people for not physically laboring are coming closer to being a reality 🙄. I can just hear it now, you're not an artist that's not your work that AI created that there's no heart behind that it doesn't matter if it's literally a scan of your brain and your thoughts there's no heart behind it because it's not you that physically drew it, and it's not you that physically wrote it you're just stealing someone else's work 🙄 Great now we got to figure out how to help the host work through this.

I researched brain-machine interfaces as a hobby, planning on developing one, years ago when there was no device commercially available. I abandoned the idea when I learned that those devices were considered extremely dangerous and needed a series of medical authorizations to be shipped. Later on I discovered that corporations were selling the devices as toys, with no regards to safety or medical regulations . Lol to me. Anyway, I thought back then about using AI (which was a novelty method at that time) to decode intent from the brain waves with higher accuracy than previous methods, which in consequence would have given me access to an endless catalogue of diverse though patterns from users. However at no point crossed my mind the idea of selling the data or even less, handing it to the government. Modifying the thoughts of the users (despite how easy it would be even with a read-only device), well, of course not. Who would want that? 😏
