Many have seen original often copied Dock Monster video, but none have seen how the rest of the day went down. When the big bite is good, its time to keep grinding. After the first 12.72lb Trophy Bass, Mike Gilbert continues on to catch 2 more pushing the bag up to 3 for 30lbs!

Have plans to do another on similar lines. Those type of videos take up some time to plot and plan on execution. I have an idea though and will probably shoot it in the next couple of months. A mix between Seventeen and Battles.

I'm so glad to hear someone else say this... I was starting to think I was the weird one for watching Battles as the last thing I see 3-5 nights of the week. It started as a way to avoid losing sleep because I was thinking about work.

That's totally awesome. Most anglers will never accomplish that. So far, here in central Florida, I do have four 12 lb'ers under my belt, and 13 other bass that weighed 10. Ironically, I have caught less 9 lb'ers ( 6 so far ) than 10's. I literally cannot count the large bass I've caught weighing 6 to 8 lbs. My single best day ever, was on Nov 28, 2005, in Farm 13 ( south end of Stick Marsh. ) I caught 35 bass. The 5 biggest were two 10's, a 9, and two 8's. That totals 45 lbs alone. However, among the 35 bass, 10 of them were in the 5 lb range, and all 35 bass totaled a whopping 162 lbs. All documented in pix. Caught these fish in only 5 hours. I don't know if I will ever top that, but I keep trying. Tight Lines-

Sid .Mohorovich..........Those 35 bass I have documented back then ( Nov 28, 2005 ) I was using 35 mm film, so they are hard-copy pix in my older fishing journal/photo album. However, since June of 2016, I have switched to digital pix, and have over 100 images of bass, where close to half are 6, 7, and 8 lbs, with only a couple 9 lb'ers plus my most recent 12 lb'er on digital so far. Back during that bad recession that started in 2008, I was forced to sell my nice bass boat to save our home. It sucked, because I owned the boat. I bought myself a Twin Troller X-10 boat October 2016, and what an awesome little boat. With my digital images, I can email those to anyone. I will catch more double digit bass, it's only a matter of time. Especially during our awesome pre-spawn/spawn/post spawn season that starts in Nov and lasts all the way through April. Last season started out great, all of December was awesome, caught many 7 & 8's, and one 9. But then we got slammed with back to back cold fronts that ruined the rest of our season down here. I am so Blessed to live so close to the famed Stick Marsh. It's a giant bass factory. I LOST a true giant in April of 2017 that I know was much bigger than any of my 12 lbe'rs. I got a really good look at this monster bass right when she spit my jig on the surface. I'm being conservative by estimating she weighed 15 lbs, and she very well may have been 17 lbs. Ya just can't say, until ya have that fish in your hand. I fish for trophy bass at least twice every week ( weather permitting ) year 'round down here. Sometimes 3 times a week.

Sid..........See my other response to you first. This is "a PS"......The only thing I can do with my hard-copy photo's is try to take a picture OF those pix with my phone, and then send them via text. Can't really say how well that would turn out. I NEED to start making videos.

D.Nasty Fishing.......No disrespect meant, but you're either fishing the wrong lakes, or coming up short with your methods. Because there are TONS of double digit bass in Florida to be caught. Did you read my entire comment? Also, look at all the big bass entered in the "My Florida Trophy Catch" program. That alone proves it.......and MOST anglers are NOT entering their trophy fish in that program. I certainly haven't. I don't have anything against the program, I just simply never get around to doing it. But I've got plenty of pix & digital images, and I'm still going strong.

Love your videos and your attention to detail. The only thing I would add is you seem like a good common sense dude so I would suggest there’s no reason to ever keep a big fish (which by the way is elderly to be that size) in a livewell. Just turn her loose right away and makes sure she lives. Also bass that size spend most of their life in their territory, their home, and turning them loose in another part of the lake can stress them majorly. Just something maybe you haven’t thought about. Love the video and love the commitment man!!
