I had a wheelhouse Merry Fisher 795 and this is exactly how I was taught to do it, very informative. However the main problem in the UK marinas is you will almost never be given a berth that long and wide in a boat of this size, which makes it "exciting" when it's windy and more challenging!

What about a single shaft driven version of a pilothouse? They are notoriously tricky in any wind, but any tips?

Great ideas - but my problem with my 755, is berthing Port side to - I cant see the Dock!! It vanishes under the high gunnel since the helm is starboard side - Any ideas? I've considered a camera or even a mirror
