How did you get the slow motion effect? recorded in 30fps and export to 24fps? or twixtor?
@timpanic2 жыл бұрын
Hi. As I remember I recorded in 30fps and export to 24fps and maybe slowed it down a little more in davinci.

incredible sharpness . can u tell me please what render settings did you use to get such a crisp image? I heard it's better to render first DNxHR in resolve ,and render it in H264 further, using adobe media encoder. what do u think about it?
@timpanic3 жыл бұрын
I just exported it straight out of resolve to 4k h264. Works for me so far.

Awesome video Tim... this is really well shot and graded... Did you have an ND Filter on?
@JonnyOxtricks7 жыл бұрын
So nice! What settings do you film in day light? like shutter angle and F stop?
@timpanic7 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I think it was 180 shutter angle and F stop depended on the DOF but mostly higher values around F8. I used a variable ND Filter as well.

@@timpanic Snap my question was answered. Which ND Filter was this? I'm thinking of getting the Zomei ones... budget issues.

@@rinusworldzm Hi! It was a cheap one called L.G.W Fader ND Mk2. The 20mm is great on the classic but one the 4k the distortion kicks in a little to much caused by the wider sensor.

@@timpanic Thank you so much. I'll check it out. I havent upgraded to 4K so for now this is good. I just want to be able to shoot outdoors with 1 less thing to worry about.

@@rinusworldzm You will need a good nd filter anyway, so don´t safe up too much ;) I would even recommend to go fixed nd filter. 3 good fixed nds like 8/16/32 and you have the best quality and you don´t have to hazzle with color casts, mechanical problems and cross vigneting etc. The 20mm 1.7 for the pocket is a must have imo when you want it small and don´t want to go the speedbooster road. Enough bokeh, nifty fifty range, cheap as hell. In the end I only sold it because the pocket4k isn´t pocket like anymore anyway and I prefer other glas for that focal range when I have a bigger rig. Greetings!
