I have an answer to your balisong question but it is kinda long. The reason the balisong or the butterfly knife from csgo did not close in the open position is because of the latch. That type of latch is called a spring latch and it is made to keep the blade from hitting the latch when doing tricks. The spring is too weak to close it in the open position and does not lock well. However the one you recieved in the blade city box the bear and sons one is what is called a t latch. There is no spring so it is very free flowing and moving around while the spring latch keeps the latch stiff. Hopefully you found this helpful. Some spring latch may close in the open position. The blade could hit the t latch while flipping and may dull or mess up the blade so usually spring latch is better. Hopefully you found this helpful

Papa Arcichella & Cool Potato yeah I hear you guys. That’s more reason to have a knife in my opinion. I would want something to defend myself with given your country’s violent crime rate. It’s sad that responsible people can’t have a basic tool that constantly proves useful. Being a teenager myself, I hate how the issue is portrayed for people my age. They act as though the only reason a teenager might want a knife is to kill someone, and it creates a stigma against a very basic tool. The same is true in my country with the public school system. It is made to seem like only an insane person, hellbent on doing harm would want a pocket knife. It’s really sad that such a basic, and classic tool has such a negative connotation to its name.

Just one thing about that custom OTF. Don't break the spring inside, or you'll wind up with an illegal "gravity" knife. A "gravity" knife's blade is operated when you swing the knife, and centrifugal force causes the blade to act as a locked knife.

I don't mean to be a smart ass but in terms of balisongs, if the latch closes when it's open, it usually means it's too loose (this being because there tends to be more space between the handles when it's open than when it's closed) and having a clip on it would throw off ability to flip it (it could throw off balance and it just generally petrudes off the handle which can be uncomfortable). Again, not trying to be a smartass, I just wanted to let you know :)

On the stun gun, there should be an option for the stun to be used while the light is on. I ordered a different but similar product and they didn't have that option either. If you are in the dark and using the light to see, and encounter a situation where you need to stun 1) who wants to turn off the light and lose the target and 2) what are the chances you are going to remember/have the time to switch over to the stun function before your target is pummeling you?!?

From a Balisong flipper. And from a person who flipped a bear and sons Balisong. I have to say they’re garbage. They use the tang pin material as stainless and the handles as zinc. Zinc is a softer metal than stainless so over time from the handles hitting the tang pin it’ll bend and ware the metal down and the handles will touch and they’re pin construction so meaning there’s no screws so handle play with be a factor in it. If you want a cheap Balisong from 130 dollars and sometimes lower if luck go through and find a Bradley kimura series. They’re not made anymore worth getting

It's hard to use one term like that and have it apply. In a lot of places there are differences in legality between owning, displaying in a collection, carrying, and using on someone. In some places all four are separate issues. In some places it is illegal on all counts. For example where I live there is no problem owning it and displaying it.

@DocP91B6 жыл бұрын
First of all, Do you have a medical degree, or did you just decide that you know what can and can't be repaired by modern medical science? In professional capacities I have seen wounds much greater than what can be cased by that knife both in combat, and in the civilian ER closed. I don't know why you decided "There is no stitching that can close up a strike from that", but it's quite untrue. Second, I wasn't aware that our legal system had added "super illegal" to the categories of "legal" and illegal" What qualifies something as "super illegal", above and beyond "illegal"? I'm just about sick of internet know-it-alls throwing in their worthless two cents, when a little less laziness, and a little more intelligence could have resulted in scrolling through some previous comments and yielded you some actual information on the subject. Making grandiose statements only makes you look like an uneducated fool. An object is either legal or illegal. But those themselves are not some kind of overreaching, all encompassing magic description. Illegal to own? To collect? To display? To transport? To carry? To carry open? To carry concealed? To use in self defense? To use in combat? Illegal with a CCW? Illegal as a certified weapons historian? Illegal as a law enforcement office? There is never a simple statement of "illegal". Knife laws in NJ (yup, I looked them up with a 30 second Google search) do say it is illegal to own - it's not specifically mentioned but it is a dagger - along with dirks, gravity knives, switchblades, stilettos, and "other dangerous knives". I saw no mention of any type of knife being more illegal that others, or "super" illegal. There was however lots of legal speak as to when and where various laws and loopholes apply and don't. Educate yourself a little bit before resorting to straight up hyperbole and incorrect statements before posting dumb stuff on the internet. Thanks for your time.

Just stumbled on to this video, you did a nice job on the video. That’s some pretty cool stuff in that box too. I went to the Blade City website, they have some REALLY COOL and wild stuff on there. I’m sure I’ll be buying something soon. That’s again, I’ll hit the line and subscribe buttons!
