I read this on a website call Country Thang Daily. If this is true I don’t know why he wouldn’t of sued for authorship and royalties.

JERMAINE Johnson actually, I believe his voice improved as he aged...even in spite of the substances in his system. After David left the Temps, I didn't follow his career much at all. Now I see that I have to go back through all of his solo stuff to re-aquaint myself with his amazing voice. Just to look at his face and physique on this performance you can clearly see the damage drug abuse had done to him....but his voice was still AMAZING!!! This was an incredible performance...David still had the goods. Imagine his career without drugs.

Its so sad how you cant watch a great performance by David without someone saying something about his addiction problem. By watching this, can you tell he does drugs ? No his.voice sounds above great, he never lost his ability to sing with his soul. He was an amazing singer whether or not he did drugs so lets focus on the bigger things, thanks.
