Power doesn't go to keyboard. If you try plugging it out and back in it does eventually but you would need 20 pairs of hands to do it the way you have done. Please tell me where I'm going wrong

Gen. 2 stick. Got safe mode by your method but it won't open settings icon. Just lights it up. Open other icons and it just loops on them. Obviously Firesticks need a manual reset push pin on the stick itself. Won't waste money on another unless they get one that's for sure.

for anyone who turns on their firestick 4k and gets loading then nothing blank screen etc... hit the Netflix app button or prime tv on the remote if either app loads try holding down the home button till you get the settings option and go the main settings screen and look at the profile and see if for some strange reason you've been signed out, if so then go through the steps to sign back in again and well... it worked for me lol

Usually my bootloop is because of overheating & too much cache being used (Kodi). Unplug it and get some cooling on it.

1) That's not an OTG cable, it's a mini hub. *if* it supports OTG at all (most of them don't; a few of them claim to but don't), it's entirely irrelevant to this problem. (If anyone used an actual OTG cable this wouldn't work - no power.) 2) Fire TV sticks do not have a 'charging port'. The micro-b input is the power supply - there's no internal battery in the fire TV stick. So disconnecting the power supply and plugging in an unpowered hub is not going to power it up. You quietly ignored the fact that you must have had to use an external power supply for that hub - which will be an uncommon round plug, not a micro usb that people might already have, i.e. one more thing to buy.

You're correct kiddo & what's needed is one of the short OTG Splitter cables with 1x short lead with Male Micro USB to plug into Fire Stick & 1x short Female Micro USB to plug your original Fire Stick power supply into, & at other end 1 Female USB-A to plug the USB Hub into (like he has in video). Not sure why he failed to mention this, or how he powers his up if it has it's own power input, but would've been a good idea to mention the OTG Splitter cables (& show one) for those who don't know about them & are not getting power, can be picked up for around £4 on Amazon' or eBay.

The only thing that worked for me was putting it in the freezer for 45 minutes. Plugged it back in when it was ice cold - all working fine again.

Should send you mine, it gets stuck in the boot loop every day..lol, or goes into shutdown and once in shutdown or standby, it will not come out! I have a Firestick 4K Max, and this has always done to on mine from new, and the Firestick was new this year. Whenever mine goes into SHUTDOWN it never comes out. Totally frustrating and annoying as I used to be a TV and Satellite technician, so pretty good on all things audio and video tech lol I now use an OTG cable as that is the only way I can get it to start after it has shutdown, and only way it comes out of standby is to "HOLD SELECT AND PLAY BUTTON DOWN FOR 10 seconds" it then resumes boot up, which then loads to the Home screen after loading. - Something else it does as well, it will not recognise no External Memory Storage from USB stick, I have tried 3 OTG cables to get an external USB memory stick to be recognised with no joy, plus 4 different brands of memory cards/sticks, all with no joy. - This Amazon 4k Max Firestick is fully up to date, if it didn't have these minor faults I would love it, but tend to find myself going back to use the Android box I have, since that is much more reliable, and so much easier to bootup, and if it goes into standby it comes out with a simple push of a button, something my Firestick has never done. - By the way.. AWESOME CHANNEL!

And don’t bother buying a new fire stick. I have the fire stick 4K max just bought it less than a week ago and it already got bricked from a software update. I was setting it up. It was doing. It’s very first update rebooted and went to a fire stick screen and never came back out stuck here if I have to go buy equipmentthat I just paid almost $70 for this thing then no I’m never gonna get another fire stick again, and I would recommend everybody else to stay away from the trashy fire sticks.

Yeah, but just because you manually put it in loop doesn’t mean the rest of us can get it out. Every situation is different like mine was due to a software update and it reset and never booted back up again. I didn’t have to force myself into it like you did to get your way out of it because you know how to get out of that boot loop the rest of us it doesn’t work

Thumbs down for this video. If you're going to upload videos to help people who are already frustrated, you better not add to the frustration by using wrong terminology or skipping steps. 1. You're device isn't called an OTG cable. It's a micro USB multi port hub. BIG difference for those of us who don't want to go to Amazon to purchase it. 2. You didn't even bother to explain where you're getting the power for your Fire stick. My advice is follow your own steps for your tutorials and verify whether they make sense before posting a video.
