My mom and us used to play cribbage in the early 60s and she still has the same board and gets together with her friends and plays it even though she doesn’t have many friends anymore she is 96 and still going strong she is an amazing person and a amazing mother she raised all 5 of us and did a wonderful job we never went went without anything

I've often wondered - DO the facilities actually 'give back' personal items if the person didn't pay their fees? Would they go the bother of looking for relatives if the person who had the unit died? Your camera person is great and she makes me laugh with her witty comments, I think she deserves a raise :)

@Lynda Painter The units I have gotten, will try to get the personal effects back, tho it's a 30 day hold.. afterwards, they would dispose of it. Sometimes the facility will give information about the units owner passing, but that's rare.. and in buying a unit at auction, they're happy to get it cleaned out to re-rent the unit, even if you get the unit for a dollar.. good hunting.

I do well with the OLD hand crank schoolhouse type pencil sharpeners when I can get them. The ones that do best are the kind with the rotating wheel that allows you to sharpen various sizes of pencils, like artists might use.
