Yeah. I totally agree. I think there are politicians in both parties that just need to step down. I actually have a great deal of respect for the wisdom that comes with life experience, and I wish that as a culture we had more reverence for the elderly as we once did, but it's also just a fact that growing older often comes with a variety of disabling conditions and we need to be able to be honest when it's time for a politician to step away from public service.

I had a friend who was battling a brain tumor. He had mini seizures as the tumor was pushing against a part of his brain. The seizures lasted about 30 seconds and then he’d be fine.

I worked at an urgent care clinic and was APPALLED at the condition people were in while driving! Patients would drive to us using only their left foot (w/o prior ability to do so), just an elbow, blurry vision, chest pain, shortness of breath, the list goes on! People scare me. I agree, as someone just over 30… No one over 50-55 truly understands the challenges/struggles of the last few generations and yet we’re dealing with people into their 70s/80s here. Retirees (with secured retirements and social security checks) are constantly stating that the cost of living is somehow still in line with livable wages like it’s still the 70s/80s… but we’re not in a time machine and these people haven’t had a job in a decade or two. It’s getting nigh time for the old guard to step down and for the new guard to step up.

My Mother became like this in her 40s . Talking normally then suddenly blank for a while . Diagnosed Petite Mal , which later turned to Grand Mal seizures , epilepsy , a misfiring of cetain systems in the brain . She had periods of confusion afterwards , sometimes for more than a day then back to normal until the next one .
