I'm guessing what you were prescribed was an antihistamine. Histamine is naturally produced in the body and has two very different functions at the same time: it promotes itchiness in the skin and wakefulness in the brain. Antihistamines are drugs that antagonise the effects of histamine. So when you take an antihistamine to dampen down histamine function in the skin, some of this antihistamine ends up in the brain and has the unintended effect of causing drowsiness

I google the difference between panther and cougar then ctrl+c ctrl+v Difference Between Cougar and Panther Cougar is always a defined and identified particular species, while a panther could be any of the big cats. Cougar does not have a larynx and hyoid structures to produce horrifying roars, but panthers could produce roars. Cougar is a new world species, while panther is both a new world and old world species.
@Natalie-it9ji2 жыл бұрын
You are correct! The common name panther comes from the genus name Panthera, which belongs to the true big cats which can roar, like Panthera leo and Panthera tigris (lions and tigers). Confusion comes from common names just being how people describe what they are talking about. Most common names come from when we grouped animals based on their looks (morphology) rather than genetics/ancestry. Cougars do look pretty similar to lions, so it makes sense they ended up with a similar common name. Genetically, they are different enough that we gave them a different genus name, Puma. This is why we have the system for scientifically naming creatures, so we can discuss with accuracy, even across many languages. I love how many people are curious or interested! Hope this helps.

Hello 👋 Ailias, how are you enjoying your wonderful weather this morning?
@ritafernandes26662 жыл бұрын
Hello Ailias, I develop eczema and my mom cleaned everything hospital grade due to the risk of asthma. I did not developed asthma but my immune system is weakened. Doctors recommend clean environment for the children allowing the interaction with different potential allergic molecules (kids that grow up with pets are less likely to develop fur allergies). However, in the case of diseases like eczema, everything should be sterile because we lack defenses. So, it actually depends on the baby's health condition.
@chloenightingale83632 жыл бұрын
My parents didn’t do this and I had eczema pretty much from day one. Seems to be more a hereditary thing in my family. Didn’t get allergies till I was 21. Sometimes it just happens

You can look into hygiene theory, its very interesting. I also did a paper in school about food allergies and the time they were introduced into the kids diets. For some allergens, such as peanuts, the earlier you give it to your child, the less risk of allergy to peanuts. Its super interesting because parents have become really worried about peanut allergies so they often times wait to introduce those foods but we actually have seen rates of allergies increase. We want to protect our kids from everything but the reality is that is likely doing more harm.

"Panther" is not a separate species. It is simply the genus name where these animals below are placed: Lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, and snow leopards. Calling any of these "panthers" would technically be correct according to their genus name, which is panthera. Cougars, cheetahs, lynx, domestic cat, etc. belong in the genus felindae; therefore, calling a cougar a panther is not correct.

Very close, but not quite: Cats (Felidae) are separated into two subfamilies: Pantherinae and Felinae. The Pantherinae ("big cats") consist of the genera Neofelis (clouded leopards) and Panthera (the five true big cat species as you mentioned). All other cats are Felinae ("small cats"). But there's several genera within Felinae, for example: Felis (domestic cats and wild cats), Acinonyx (cheetah), Lynx (lynxes), Puma (cougar), Leopardus (ocelot, margay).

honestly and truly wish more people would watch these videos, it's so crazy that people see certain things on these social sites and just run with that knowledge in mind not knowing half of what you find there is BOGUS, top 10 channels in my list tbh

I remember making mud cakes with my really good friend when I was younger. (Didn't eat them, but pretended to) So much fun 100/10 definitely recommend, pleading kids to do it. It's wonderful for your immune system, gets you more sunlight, and makes you happier.

Thank you for the clarification about pH. People need to hear that - especially ones in various "deacidification cults"! (It's a big thing in Europe, don't know in US - maybe wouldn't be a bad idea if you made a whole video on this topic (or have you already?))

And regarding eating raw meat: it's not only bacteria, it's also various parasites and toxins. Do you want trichine or fly larvae to eat their way to your brain and live there? (I know that with normal inspection done on the meat that is less possible, but it is still).

This video is the first time I've ever heard about people being concerned about the pH of their water. There are several reasons why you might want to filter your tap water, to make it safer to drink, (especially in certain countries,) but the pH thing feels pretty silly.

I'm glad you brought up Manuka honey, because my mother, who passed away seven years ago, had been in a wheelchair and bed bound before her passing, and had several bed sores. The doctor prescribed her Manuka honey, and it helped a lot. She even got a course of maggots at one point, to help the wound heal.

Every time I see or hear something about some "natural 100% effective full-body detox" I get aggravated. It's nice to be around people who have common sense and realize our bodies already come with a built-in filtering system.

Me and my broken liver (thanks to a genetic disease) hate when people talk about detox teas to "help" my liver. I'm doing great with my loads of medicine and am waiting patiently on the transplant list. I think my doctors might know more about what I need than some random lady at the store.

Unless you have issues with your kidneys. My adopted sister was born with kidney disease. Has had 2 transplants and currently on the list for 3rd one and is only 29. Her kidneys don't filter out anything. It's why she is on dialysis and has to go to the hospital 3 times a week.
@lavenderoh2 жыл бұрын
@@ashleydowney1222 you're missing the point, do you want people telling your sister to just drink a tea and it will cure her, when you know it won't? No. That's the point.
@Panda720212 жыл бұрын
@@ashleydowney1222 In which case her organs are impaired so "You have organs use them" is a little over-simplified in this case (and others like it). That being said you wouldn't suggest that your sister do a "juice cleanse detox" to "cure" her issues, nor would you suggest she take the advice of ANYONE who would. The point Haley and I were trying to make is that people who have healthy functioning kidneys and livers buy into this whole "detox" trend which is completely unnecessary BS. And that it wouldn't help anyone in any circumstances, and yet people continue to peddle it as a "cure-all".
