Jackson, I am almost sure you are not the one that scratched Elliot's eye. I scratched my eye a few years ago and it really HURT!! I think Elliot would have cried after you think you got hi in the eye. Will be praying for little Elliot's eye to heal quickly.

AWww..I was wondering why we didn't see him with his eyes open...Its going to heal fast...don't take it too hard Jackson...He is a lucky boy to have you in his life ... :) My babes are teenagers...and I wish I had taken more CRYING video...you don't have to publish it...but when they are teenagers...I think it is good for them to really SEE....some of what you went through..and just telling them doesn't really sink in... I only took video of the great stuff and the cute stuff..and now my kids...well it would be easier if they were more humble.. Thanks for the video...hope you get more sleep ... :)

That's really true! I scratched my eye a couple years ago, and even as a grown adult, I was half hysterical with how badly it hurt. If you had scratched his eye, Elliot would've let you know!!

i got a scratched cornea a few years ago from grit and it hurt like hell, so Jackson if it were you, the baby would have cried for sure, the docs had to patch my eye for a week and I had to see him everyday to put meds in (goopy stuff) but after the week it fully healed and no scar tissue built up at all. just keep putting in the meds and prayers for lil Elliot! and Carlie you were right to be all momma bear!

My son had the same problem at a different age though. They did the same test. He had a twig, and snapped it then a piece got in his eye. After the ointment started it healed up nicely. Poor little fella God bless him! Prayers for y'all! He's so precious btw!

i had a brutal scratch on my cornia when I was little I remember having to have the ointment in my eye 4 times a day when I was 3 years old. and I had to have warm co pressed on my eyes at bedtime. and then I had a scar on my cornia and had glasses for a few years. but now I'm fine no glasses and never had a lazy eye! Oh poor sweet baby! My toddler just scratched my eye earlier this week and let me tell you it was extremely painful 😖 not trying to make anyone feel bad at all because we know it was an accident but I just can't imagine how it would feel as a baby having that. The gunk (best word I have to describe it) is sooo aggravating. At first I thought it would never get better but by the end of the week it was so much better and I could use my eye pretty normally ☺️ much love and healing for sweet Elliot!

Carlie. I'm going through the same thing right now as Elliot. Keep the lights low. The bright lights hurt me so much. I've been sitting with lights out and sunglasses on. Just a little tip because the lights are probably bothering him. I noticed them bright in the bedroom when Jackson was holding him and he started to fuss a little.

Jackson! My dad accidentally dislocated my sisters arm when she was about 6 months old, while taking her out of her car seat! Her arm got caught just at the last second on the strap as he lifter her up and out, pulled her towards him and pop. She was in a baby sling for 6 weeks! Lol so IF it was you by accident, don't feel bad at all! This kinda stuff happens all the time! Also! Your a first time dad! My sister was the third child...... Lol So your still good! I was in a car accident last year and the airbag deployed right on my eye and I had a scratched cornea. It didn't really hurt just a light pinch IN my eye. The doctor did the dye thing and actually looked into my eye and saw the scratch. I had to use antibiotic and these drops that were like Neosporin for the eye. It healed in two weeks. Elliot will be fine.

The dye they use is so cool my kitten keeps getting eye infections Sotheby's wanted to check there was no starches or underlining causes but there isn't but the dye is so cool how it works and stuff only it didn't numb his eye but yea hope Elliot gets better soon xo

What a handsome lil peanut ♡♡♡ my 4th child got fuzzy from a blanket in her eye and it gave her a slight case of pink eye. Well the first eye med they gave her she was alergic to and it made the skin around her eye all red and swollen. It was a crazy cpl of weeks for sure and one fussy baby. Jackson, don't feel bad ! So about 2 weeks ago our now 15 week old twin girl Kate was gassy. I laid Kate on the changing table, opened the gas drops and put some in her mouth. As I lifted the little dropper up to place it back into the bottle I was holding in the opposite hand I accidentally dropped some gas drops into her left eye. With 48hrs it was oozing white creamy gunk, then nasty green gunk 😩 Ended up having to do the same thing, eye cream stuff 4x's a day thanks to an infection that started due to my not properly paying attention. It's finally looking better, but things happen and you can't beat yourself up about it 😕

I scratched my eye when I was younger with a tree banch and it was super big. However I am perfectly fine now and it hasn't effected my vision at all! I have such good vision & got 100% on my eye test not too long ago! So don't worry x

Back in 1995 I got a paper cut in my eye. I also have dry eye. Every couple of years if I miss putting an ointment in my eye when I go to sleep it has torn back open. It is very painful. The eye lid sticks to my eye so when I open them it sticks. I hope Elliot doesn't go through the same thing. I will say prayers for him.

I have a scratch on my left cornea. i can only see blurry on my left eye. When i was younger I always had a pink eye or a bump on my eye. but it all went away around when i was 15 years old. I'm 25 now still have the stratch. Doctors told me i need a transplant. I think its genetics my dad and aunts have the samething. best of luck with Elliott ♡♡
