First of all, identify your area of interest regarding research. Then, study articles from good quality journals related to your area of interest and particularly focus on future research recommendations. These recommendations may be a starting point of your research proposal.

In case of DBA, you apply directly to the university and after the completion of coursework, university assigns supervisors on it's own. This is the general pattern adopted by majority of UK universities.

W.salam. on the basis of previous qualifications, it would be difficult to get admission in DBA. However, if she has relevant management experience then some universities may consider their application.

Assalam o Alaikum! Sir, I have done Bachelors HONS in business and then completed my 2 year MBA executive in January 2023 and have 8+ years of working experience. Can I be eligible for doing DBA? As I talked to a consultant he said you are not eligible as your last qualification MBA was completed in 2023 so there is just 1 year. The working experience starts after completing your last degree. Kindly please guide me in this regard.

I am considering making my wife the primary applicant, with myself as her dependent. We both have similar profiles; she holds a 4-year Honors degree and a 2-year MBA Executive degree with a specialization in HR, and has received a gold medal in Honors. Furthermore, she has over 10 years of experience in the field. What are the key factors that contribute to successful admissions in the DBA program? Also, regarding the fees mentioned in your video, are they the total fees for the entire program, or are they annual fees? Additionally, would it be feasible to manage these fees while be working there?

DBA and PhD both are best options to move to UK. Acceptance into these programs depends upon your academic background, experience, IELTS, research proposal, interview, and personal statement etc. and these are the key factors. The only difference regarding this aspect; PhD admission may take 6 months to one year whereas DBA admission takes on average 2-3 months. Making wife the main applicant is a good option and you may find some good full-time job for yourself. Yes, that's total fee and it can be managed to some extent provided you work full-time but managing finances is a broad topic and many factors contribute in this.

You don't need to take it again provided it has not been more than 5 years since you completed your masters degree in UK, as far as I know.

W.salam. According to my information and knowledge it is not possible. Let me explain. DBA is a Level 8 qualification in Uk and to be eligible to get admission, you must have level 7 qualification that is a UK master degree. What i get is that your qualification is equal to 16 years of education that is not meeting the standard of level 7 qualification. You can apply for admission by completing a one year masters degree either in your own country or UK. As far as experience is concerned, almost all UK universities require minimum 2-3 years managerial experience for DBA admission. So, with respect of experience, you are fulfilling the criteria but with repsect of education, you are not. If you have a good research proposal and highly interested in research, why dont you apply mphil leading to phd or a Master by Research may also be a good option.

My concern is taking my dependent along , as UK's new law doesn't allow dependent along with Masters program so one of the university consultant recommends me to apply for DBA as agrees that I fulfil the requirement (cause of my 5 years experience) . What other options I could look for to take my dependent (husband) along it will be really kind of you , if you can suggest me ? Kindly put some light on Master by research program in UK too

You must consider doctoral degree if your major concern is to bring dependants. I think you should lodge your application for DBA if your consultant is confidant about admission.

Yes you can defer admission. Just email to admission office requesting to defer it to next year. The only drawback in part time study, you cannot work in the UK.
