Hi guys, thank you so much for this great video! Just wanted to ask, the night hours get an enhanced rate of 37% but in your payslip it seems to be the same rate as other hours? I'm having difficulty understanding it. Also, on the pay slip, what do the 2 columns wkd/earned and paid/due mean? Can they sometimes pay you less than you've earned? Sorry about the confusion

You get paid extra for the 37% of the night/on-call hours worked. Same hourly rate. But you get basic pay for those hours and then 37% more. Week earned in the nights row is 37% of week worked. That's how the calculation is made.

Ibrahim, great content. Just a note- the personal tax allowance has just changed in April 2021, so our tax code will be showing as 1257L, instead of 1250L.
