Adding to the underserved community are single unmarried women or single women without children both of whom work and have insurance. Older single unmarried women. Women and people in general who don't have cronic health problems. You don't bring in enough revenue for them to bother with you. It's not just the poor or uninsured. To me it seems medical care is very biased as are insurance companies. Here's an idea, how about some kind of incentive and lower rate for people who stay healthy and don't run to the doctor for every bump or bruise.
