A realm and a reality are two different things, even though people incorrectly use them interchangeably. Realm literally means "Kingdom". It could be an entire planet or a region. So, in MCU context, a realm would be Nowhere, Earth, Asgard, OR, it could be New Asgard ON Earth. Reality is the layer of space between worlds where each is not necessarily real to the other. For example, if you and I were on different worlds in different realities, my world would not be real to yours, and vice versa. The only way to access a "reality" is via traveling the fourth dimensional, hence why the MCU is introducing America Chavez in MoM. This is why the multiverse is so complicated. In theory, none of these other worlds are supposed to know about the other. The fact that there are beings that not only know about the multiverse, but actively travel to different realities, is pretty wild. It seems the MCU is also basing this in a real science.

one of the main elements of the film will be the Book of Vishanti, which can actually be seen on the movie's poster. For those who don't know, this mysterious book is the antithesis of the Darkhold-think light against dark. One corrupts, the other contains pure light and magic . I think that the location of this mysterious book can be seen in the trailers for Multiverse of Madness. Specifically, the location is shown in the scene where Doctor Strange, America Chavez, and Christine Palmer are seen in a doorway, floating above an ornate structure with a blinding light emitting from a podium . Given the Book of Vishanti's associations with light, it is possible that the glowing light seen in the trailer could be the artifact itself. May be the MCU's Stephen Strange is not aware, at least initially, of where the Book of Vishanti is. Instead, his Variant, Defender Strange is the one who knows where it is. It's that both Defender Strange and America Chavez are potentially from the same universe and are fighting the threat looming over the Multiverse of Madness. As audiences saw in the trailer, things didn't go well, and Defender Strange is unable to both stop the threat and save himself-but he is able to cast America Chavez out of the pocket dimension they're fighting in and into the MCU fans know, therefore jumpstarting the plot of the movie. So, in summation, Multiverse of Madness will see Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, alongside America Chavez and Wong, journey across the Multiverse searching for the book of Vishanti in order to stop the corrupted Scarlet Witch from destroying all of reality.

If it's Micheal B Jordan he needs to be Killmonger. He can be an alternate timeline version of Killmonger who took up the mantle of Black Panther but he can't be T'Challa Black Panther imo. 1) people wanted to see a GOOD version of Killmonger, they got pissed in the What If series that he ended up just being bad seemingly in ever universe. Denzel helped fund Bozeman’s tuition fees and is one of the reasons he made it in acting. I think Professor Hulk is a good prediction. Or you know what, to make it even more interesting, Maestro! Imagine Maestro Hulk is one of the members of the Illuminati. Or Thanos being one of the members. I would absolutely love to see either of them in Illuminati. But Maestro Hulk needs to be different than Professor Hulk. While Professor Hulk was Bruce Banner with Hulk's power, Maestro needs to be The Hulk who's as smart as Banner. So he's every bit as strong and powerful as his original Savage Hulk self with an addition of brain power from Bruce Banner. As for Thanos, he should be a variant who actually killed all the heroes in Endgame, and was teleported away by the Illuminati and was given the rundown on why they need him to complete this mission to save the multiverse. I think you have it all wrong Rob. In Endgame, they all wore these watches (the ones Toni Stark invented) that were sort of like anchors for their timeline. If the Avengers didn't have those watch things, they would've gone to the future of the changes they made, instead of to their original timeline. So Days of Future Past was not really a different way to show time-travel, it was just how it would happen if you didn't have an anchor. Thanos and Nebula form the past in Endgame find our specific timeline because they had the anchor of our current Nebula. It seems complicated, or that its two different things completely, but in reality, all the "science" checks out.

Timeline explanation sounds like what Future trunks was saying to kid Trunks about how time worked. Like how he explained, originally Goku died and then all the Z fighters died to the androids and future trunks grew up in a terrible future. When Future Trunks went back and saved Goku and changed a few events, all those situations didnt change future trunks timeline cuz his events already happened but kid trunks timeline will go on to an alternate path due to future trunks involvements

Hm. Good theory, but it’s a bit of a stretch thematically. The MCU has already shown how they handle complex introductions; they don’t. With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, we didn’t need another origin story. We already knew who Peter Parker was, so they just started after the ball was already rolling. This tells us that, since we already know who Xavier is, they’ll likely just give him to us without explaining any of his universes backstory. However, they’ll likely give a very brief explanation for Reed Richards bringing the Illuminati together, but that’s probably about it.

I could go for Tom Cruise being that 'Superior Iron Man' so long as he epitomises RDJ's Tony Stark before he realised he "had a heart". Like when Cap makes that comment about Tony not being the one "to make the play", yet RDJ comes through in the end with the missile redirect, I think Tom Cruise's 'Superior' version should be the guy who would have the absolute attitude of Tony in that Cap argument, of "I don't need to be the guy to make the play, cos i'm smart and have tech, so nerr!". Like he never made that sacrifice play in his universe, cos he had some techy, smart-ass way to be the hero.

I really just wish they'd make Killmonger the new Black Panther. There are few things comic fans love more than a redemption arc and a former villain becoming a hero. In the comics there's precedent for Black Panther having a deep connection with the dead. They could even make it to where when T'Challa was snapped away Killmonger came back somehow but he now has the wisdom and guidance of all the other kings before him. He wouldn't be who he used to be. So he goes into hiding only to learn that after everyone snapped away reappears the Atlanteans, under Namor's command, have infiltrated Wakanda and assassinated T'Challa. Written well it would make for a really intriguing story of him no longer wanting to rule Wakanda, but needing to in order to make up for his past crimes, avenge his cousin and save his homeland. I'd make it too where a Skrull has taken Namor's form and Killmonger discovers that Namor is being held prisoner in Atlantis. So to avoid both sides wiping each other out he, Shuri and M'Baku all get snazzy new Panther-themed duds and go rescue him. At the end many battles have occurred but an all out war is prevented. Killmonger is officially made king and protector of Wakanda after earning their trust and Namor pledges an alliance with them and also to discover who was behind trying to start a World War between two technological super powers. The post credits would reveal an extremely pissed off Doctor Doom telling the Skrulls they failed him and that he should destroy them. They beg him to let them try again and as Doom looks at a screen with potential heroes he wants the Skrulls to replace he says very well, but not to disappoint him again.

I've seen the similar plot point on "Millennium" When time travelers, saved airline passengers from crashes, only to abduct them to the future. In order to breed with them. Didn't like that plot point in that movie. But... you... you... you're on to something!! Why not use a dead timeline.

Inhumans plays like The Flash or Smallville in a way that feels very "made for TV", but I believe there are story-rich characters with depth and concepts worthy of salvaging. Anson Mount was an awesome Black Bolt. I'm curious if Kamala Khan and all things terragen-related become a mutant thing instead of an inhuman thing for the MCU. And then Inhumans get written out. I don't know. But Karnak does.

If they show Reed Richards then that means they would have to work backwards and tell the origin of the FF after we’ve already seen him.. then they’ll also have to explain how they get in the main marvel universe. People will question, where were they the whole time? I do not want the FF to turn into a flashback movie like Eternals

Michael B. Jordan as T'Challa / Black Panther is a great concept if done right, they can use the excuse of an alternate universe counterparts or something happening to the body of T'Challa that he somehow had to switch bodies with Killmonger (maybe with a spell cast by Dr. Strange), or they can simply recast Jelani Snipes as T'Challa without any explanation like they did with Bruce Banner/Hulk and James Rhodes/War Machine.

I don't remember anyone caring when James Rhodes was recast in Iron Man 2. If there was, this is how you handle it. "Look, it's me. I'm here. Deal with it. Let's move on". Bruce Banner was recast I'm sure no one cared.

But you also have to remember neither of the previous actors (Terrance Howard or Edward Norton) died before the recast, and that the reason they were recast is because of trouble behind the scenes and whatever, and some would argue neither of them really made any sort of impact in those roles anyways, whereas the opposite is true in all those for Chadwick, he did die before a potential recast, everyone behind the scenes absolutely adored him, and he made major impact as the character. So yes, while it's a similar situation, there are things about it that make it different and complicate matters and everything when it comes to just a simple recast.

The Professor X will most likely be from the X men 97 series. They will use the new season they're making to explain how that universe is linked into the MCU multiverse. That would also mean we might see a comic accurate wolverine in the future. Hopefully by Hugh jackman.
