Doctor Who 5" Reconnaissance Dalek Figure Review

Despite the cobbled-together nature of the Dalek, it came across as more threatening than the Daleks have been since 2010. It was a return to form for an intelligent, sadistic characterization for the Daleks, while also being a force to be reckoned with that destroyed anyone who stood in its way. The "allotted surender period has expired!" line was great, too. I am really looking forward to the release of the Reconnaissance Dalek and the other Series 11/Resolution/Series 12 figures. My Thirteenth Doctor figure seems awfully lonely without her fam, or any enemies of her own to fight. While Series 12 has consistently been enjoyable so far, I would love for the Daleks to return again at some point.

Absolutely. Been a fan since before the show came back, and while the Eleventh Doctor's run was my favorite, I am enjoying the current series with Jodie Whitaker as the Doctor.

Just ordered this - glad it has been made available. I have quite a few of the 12 inch daleks and their centre section that houses the gun/plunger does rotate round.

Since the back has been revealed, I'm quite happy with getting that judoon! I'll be buying that, graham and the TARDIS some time later this month. I'll be preordering the Dalek today if I'm lucky, but it will probably be tomorrow.

This is one of my top favorite different looking style of Dalek designs.I too, would like to see the Reconnaissance Daleks return again. Reconnaissance Dalek: "THE DALEK RACE IS SUPREME!!!"

Woah, you have this early! Did you say it has eight points of articulation though? I only counted six points (the three stalks, the neck and the midsection) not counting the rotating wheel.
