Just a quick thing on the Fallout info, they didn't go into vaults in the 50's, it's more that history diverges from ours around the 50's and people were more open to using nuclear technology in this history. It leads to people going into vaults in October, 2077! That's why they have robots and vault technology and such. (Also why some places in this world still have halloween decorations lying about)

RE Deadpool telephoto pictures and "they should put up a big bit of cardboard so they can't see" - I worked on the hit show Outlander when it first filmed in Scotland about ten years ago and whenever we were filming in the out of doors, if a rough photographer was spotted, a production runner would be sent over to them with the instruction to 'non-aggressively' get in the way of their cameras. Whether it worked or not I don't know, some of the young runners were quite short.

I watched it yesterday, From what I remember, the toy maker forced the 15th Doctor to arrive earlier than he should have, 15 explains to 14 that he needs to slow down and relax to deal with his trauma over his previous life times. I think eventually 14 will regenerate into 15. Probably just disperse into Timelord Regeneration energy. So Doctors Timeline matches up. 15 is an Older version of the Doctor that has except the trauma. It definitely means they can bring David back whenever they want for crossovers. Kind of a cool way to introduce a new doctor.

You can't even call it an educated guess, since you have no idea whether this one alien looks or sounds how a male or female of that species generally does. That's like assuming someone's a 'he' when you've got an unsigned email from them, haven't heard their voice, seen them or learned their name. It speaks to the "male-default," where, in our man-dominated society, men are seen to essentially be the "general model," and women are a variation from that base model, and everyone and everything is assumed to be male until proven otherwise.

Yeah, the Timeless Child stuff is really dumb and pointless, and retroactively weakens basically everything that came before by turning the doctor into a cliche chosen one. Chibnall was an absolute hack writer, his stories are like watching four wooden planks explaining the plot to each other.

TBF, it isnt entirely Chibnall's fault. There is a reason that the writers show solidarity and reinforce each other even when ideas are not so good. The show is literally the first at least major show to be written by committee/algorithm. As that process became more and more machine based, the constraints on the writing got more severe and everything gets more wooden.

The thing about the TC is that, it actually doesn't matter. He was fob watched, reverted to a regular gallifreyan, and left to grow up and live like the rest. By all means he isn't special, he has absolutely no experience or memories of before the First Doctor, for him, all he is is 1 onwards. Everything before is essentially someone else. And so, it doesn't really matter.

I was cautiously optimistic about the Fallout show until I heard that it's in the same continuity as the games and now I have absolutely zero expectations for it. Bethesda and Todd never understood Fallout and they ruined it by turning an interesting world into a meaningless amusement park.

Idk why them being in the same continuity matters. Most of the stories in fallout are self contained. Almost nothing about what happens in another game affects the next one. If you don't like how Bethesda and Howard write these stories and they are writing this show I get why you'd be skeptical. I love Bethesda's Fallout for many reasons but the the things I really don't like are the Tone, Narrative and the Aesthetic and those are the things being carried over to the show. If it were to be disconnected/non-canonical from the games it means we would be able to re-imagine things like the Brotherhood, Super Mutants etc etc into something else, but being continuous means we are stuck with so so much to the point that I don't feel I really need to explore it.
