Doctor Who - A Good Man? (80's style): Tribute to the 6th Doctor

Here it is!
A retro style version of A Good Man by Murray Gold - the Twelfth Doctor's theme. I see this working well with the Sixth Doctor so have put together a few clips to go with it, chosen to include some of the morally questionable behaviour of old Sixie.

Interestingly, there are a few behind the scenes things Colin Baker and Peter Capaldi had in common. Both were on the show prior to playing the Doctor, both were older than their immediate predecessor, and shared part of their name with another predecessor.

Fantastic work! I think "A Good Man?" works really well for the Sixth Doctor's persona. Here's a thought: the Thirteenth Doctor's theme in the style of the Fifth Doctor. I think that suits Five's character perfectly?

This is brilliant! I love Sixie - Colin's take on the character, being alien and giving us a hero who is unpredictable and might not always act in the clear cut way you expect is good fun to watch. And it's always fun to watch Colin himself because the man is clearly having the time of his life in his dream role.

As a seemingly rare fan of 6, I love this - I think him and 12 are similar in many ways. They both start off being angry, arrogant, very alien characters, but progress into being much more sensitive and kind-hearted in their later stories. The only reason Capaldi was better was because his arc was more well-thought out and his era felt complete Colin is a remarkable actor and genuinely one of the best people to play the doctor. That speech about the Time Lords' corruption is amazing. Almost felt like foreshadowing of the Time War

I’ve been looking for this comment as I remember someone suggested it. My next release is inspired by this comment. Even though I haven’t used the Bond theme as this is a Doctor Who channel, I’ve reworked a track to sound a bit like the Bond theme for the Third Doctor. So credit to you for suggesting it!

In all fairness, I never understood why lots of people hating Colin Baker TV episodes with a passion. They say arguments that can easily be counter-argued. Colin Baker is too violent 'cause he throws people into acid, threaten them with guns and using them and also kills a person with poison. Tom Baker killed Morbius with cyanide and destroyed Sutekh in a most gruesome way if you think about it - Sutekh was forwarded into space-time tunnel where off-screen his insides, heart, brains etc, totally burnt, eyes melted, froze (though off-screen - the way what I described is how you die in space). William Hartnell beaten a Roman assassin half-dead and crippled some Dalek humanoid servitors with his cane. Patrick Troughton literally condemned the villain with his own face to suffer on a planet. Jon Pertwee used UNIT soldiers leisurely and he decapacited or crippled lots of people with Venusian aikido, the Silurians and Sea Devils suffered a most gruesome fate partially because of him. Peter Davison basically made two warring factions kill each other. Sylvester McCoy is directly responsible for the sun of Skaro being destroyed and he convinced a dalek to kill himself. The War Doctor destroyed his own people and Daleks, and lots of planets and other things died because of his actions described in audio dramas. Okay, Day OF The Doctor overwritten the destroying of two races, but not the other things. All of the Doctors used countless people as a mean to their ends. The Ninth Doctor teleported Cassandra back, so she died - we do understand that it was not himself who turned up the temperature, but still. Countless people sacrificed themselves for him and he used a lot. The Tenth Doctor used UNIT and innumerable people, imprisoned the Family OF Blood for all eternity, treated Martha like trash. The Eleventh Doctor was really a prick towards Rory for a long time, and he even used billions of people to help him, just like River Song, Order Of Silence, Silurians etc. The Twelfth Doctor also used many others. The Thirteenth Doctor used noone, as she was mostly having no clue what is going on.
