"An Adventure in Space and Time" was the true 50th anniversary special.

"Just lock the doors and we'll do Marco Polo" yes pleaseeeee!!!! Se need this man to take charge of all Doctor Who episodes, he would make them awesome
@davidyoung511411 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't it be feasible for the actors from 'An Adventure In Space & Time' to re-create some of the 'lost' episodes of Doctor Who from the Hartnell era?
@ShadowWolf198210 жыл бұрын
it would be a nice imitation, but sadly that's all it would be. Fans from the beginning would be picking at it trying to find flaws, and new generation who fans might not have as strong an interest in such early episodes which while rich in writing were lacking in effects; a product of the times. Also unless you shot it in the same...was it 8mm film?....it just wouldn't have the same feel of the original who episodes. If one was lucky enough to see them when they were originally aired then hold onto the memories and treasure them forever.
@UnchainedEruption7 жыл бұрын
ShadowWolf1982 Yeah, it just wouldn't be the same. It would probably also be too expensive for the BBC and like you said not much demand for it since New fans would be bored. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see if they use animation to recreate the episodes. I really like that format, coupled with the original audio.
@Fifty1stState.7 жыл бұрын
;o) looks like someone may be thinking of that now!
@timrob127 жыл бұрын
I understand your opinion, but I think a lot of New Who fans would be up for seeing it, I believe. I totally support a recreation of these missing stories.

It'd be better than nothing! And certainly better than cheap motion-tween Adobe Flash animation

I'll read about them and it makes sense with the Mondasian Cybermen returning. After all, they were responsible for the First Doctor's regeneration and it would be nice if Capaldi revisited these events and meets the First Doctor (or tries to avoid him).

A wonderful tribute to Doctor Who. Something Chibnall has recently thrown away. I grew up with William Hartnell's Doctor Who. It was a wonderful time and a brilliant show. It took me a long time to get used to the second Doctor because of the recorder.
