@ I certainly am I will tell you something this latest season 25 box set was special for me as remembrance of the daleks was my first ever doctor who story I watched fully I did remember the awakening but only the malace face I got very annoyed when the new series tried to claim it was the first time a dalek went up the stairs but remembrance was the first time

Remembrance is such a great story. Easily Top 3. It gets better every time I watch that story. I think it's more people forgetting Daleks going up the stairs in the 80s rather than the new series taking that claim. It worked well as a reintroduction, though since the majority at the time when Remembrance was broadcast, were sadly watching Coronation Street. Technically Davros is the first in Revelation Of The Daleks 😉👍
