Doctor Who Classic Review - Planet of Fire

For my next classic review, I take a look at the Fifth Doctor's penultimate, Turlough's last and Peri's first story. This one also features the return of Kamelion and The Master! By the way, I've often thought that the 11th Doctor's "Trenzalore" derives from Lanzarote, where _Planet of Fire_ was made. It's almost a complete anagram.

Because John Nathan-Turner wanted an American actor as Peri, Nicola Bryant was made to pretend to be American off-set, in interviews etc. She was initially required to keep up the pretence with Peter Davison, only telling him the truth later. However, because Davison's then-wife, Sandra Dickinson, was from the USA, Davison suspected Bryant wasn't American all along :)
