First time i've seen your channel pop up, but I instantly subscribed. This is one of the most personality filled and chill videos i've seen. I'm sorry for your loss, having had someone who just passed in my family, it's hard to "cope properly" The 13th doctor stuff (the female doctor run) is kinda hit or miss, if you like the 9th and 10th, you'll like a good chunk of episode's. A lot of the episodes are just written like shit though, which is where a ton of the problems come in, but definitely not the end of Who! That set looks like a pain for where to store/display it, big box sets always have shitty packaging. Hope you enjoy the seasons when you get to them though!

Thank you. I appreciate your comments. I had a few people tell me that the writing is weak and due to multiple writers strikes. The series takes odd turns. Hits and misses. I truly appreciate the subscription, view and comment. I keep my channel real and honest. It’s kind of a video diary of my life. Every item has a story and a meaning. Some are funny. While others can get emotional. Whatever your watching it’s from the heart 👍🏻

I did not buy the new set because I think I already have the individual blu-ray sets and the other problem with Doctor Who is if you’re a completist like yourself you’ll never have the complete sets of the old doctors because some of them have been lost and they no longer have the tapes to complete the series or seasons so it makes it kind of hard to know when you have everything that will be available to complete your set

I’m still going to try 😂 you are correct about the lost or destroyed stuff but audio pops up and they set them to cartoons. Some are just radio versions (audio) as long as I can get everything that is still alive. I’m happy. I almost feel like I am preserving what’s left for the future. Let’s say all the Tom Baker stuff gets destroyed. I got that pretty much covered.

I think Jodie Whittaker played the doctor well its Chris Chibnall's messing with the lore that makes it suck like Kerblam is an episode I like from the 13th doctor just not the retcon lore ones (the timeless child retcon the plot hole with the 13 doctor meeting a doctor we have not seen in the show. shit like that ) ncuti gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor is good so far so I have hope 😁

Seems like everyone has a favorite doctor. So the franchise is doing their job. Think it’s a “Baker” thing. They make the best doctors.

I am very sorry about your loss. My Mom passed about 6 years ago. It still hurts. Grieving can be different for different people. Some make light with humor as a sort of reflex. On Doctor Who, the show runner effectively destroyed the series. To be fair the writing got worse as the series went on to later seasons. On the Dr. Who sets you could sell them. I've got about four or five of the sets. I went as far as Smith. I don't own the original series because it was very expensive. I too grew up on Baker and he's my favorite Doctor Who. I had mix feelings on Davidson's Doctor Who. Episode quality varies. The next Doctor was severely hurt by the writer's strike. I could never really get into Sylvester McCoy's take on the Doctor. I liked McGann's movie Doctor. Very much enjoyed Eccleston's version. I enjoyed Tennent and parts of Smith's version. I liked Capaldi's take though he sadly had a lot of weak episodes. Whittaker's Doctor was horrible. For some reason she only has about three expressions, one of which is to constantly mug at the camera. She has some of the worst written episodes in the entire series. Tennent's return is sadly totally ruined by even worse writing that is stupid and constantly breaks cannon. Save yourself some time and skip over everything after Smith. I hope you have a Happy New Year.

This was great. A Doctor Who expert. Honestly I have watched all the Tom Baker stuff and the last episode before Tom so I could see him change and the first of the 5th to watch Tom change over. I watched one or two of each doctor. Nothing touched Baker until I saw Tennent’t take. I liked his humor and how he took over the roll. The movie was also great but I look at that as something completely different. Thanks for all your time and information. Happy New Year to you
