I'm also so glad that Alex Kingston decided not to keep the shoes when they were offered to her, because they've now been an easter Egg multiple times.

That TARDIS key wasn't just used by the 7th and 8th Doctors. It also appears in Pyramids of Mars. Also, next to the yoyo are some chess pieces, which are like the ones the 7th Doctor uses in Curse of Fenric. The guitar is an Epiphone SG.

In my opinion the Doctor's only companion in that episode was death. Like, the literal death, not Sutekh who was probably bored to death sitting in the TARDIS waiting for something interesting to happen.

First, regarding K9's Head (and body I think we see that too in the Memory Tardis), The Doctor's hea dto rebuild him several times, so it's likely there'd be some spare parts no longer usable around his Tardis (likely in the Attic). Secondly, YAY for the love for the 8th Doctor's Steampunk Tardis! And lastly, can we just admit that the Memory Tardis is the Doctor's Garden Shed where all unwanted things go to gather dust, right?

One of those round things that fell out (along with the book you think is River Song's diary) looked like a Krynoid pod to me. Certainly a dangerous memory to have around. There are also a couple of other round things that are a little less distinct falling out at the same time. One could perhaps be an Auton sphere as it seemed a bit more transparent? Other possibilities are a small baby Wolfweed or a slightly rusted Yeti sphere? Difficult to tell.

I think when asking why anything is in the Tardis is quite simply addressed by the fact of it being a Remembered Tardis, they are all the memories of things good or bad. It is a construct of memories, it's not like someone put these things there and figured they'd hold onto it, but it's a custruct of memory.

21:44 That spikey prop also appeared in Torchwood before it appeared in Doctor Who. It was seen in Torchwood in the episode Day One, before Doctor Who. It was seen a second time in Torchwood in the episode Random Shoes. Now here's a little bit of other info. The 11th Doctors TARDIS set was so large, they needed to use a different set. The Torchwood hub was destroyed. So the set that was used for TWs Hub set was now used for the 11th Doctors new TARDIS interior. And the spinney ball thing is now part of the console. In The Curse of the Black Spot the Doctor stated that he used it to steal the TARDIS

I think those 2 chairs in the Tardis are a reference to Tales of the Tardis, which took place inside the memory Tardis. Also, the 13th doctor’s Tardis interior popping up in front of Ruby and 15 is also a reference to Tales of the Tardis. As you probably know, Tales of the Tardis is basically about 2 characters from Classic who whether it be 2 companions or the Doctor and a companion sitting and talking about going on the adventures they went on.
