Now do "Doctor Who Missing Episodes Documentary | The Troughton Years"

Stumbled across this (what a cliche I just said) but I appreciate it very much as a casual viewer - a concise (for once!) and accurate piece of work on this subject extremely well made. Thank you for no doubt hours of labor, very much appreciated. :)

Thank you so much. Currently working on the second part of this documentary focusing on the Troughton Years. Hope it'll be out by the end of the month but due to a lot more episodes are missing it takes far longer. -Chuby123

I wish they never burned these episodes it feel so empty when you can't get the full story

I know how you feel. Just be glad in what we've got as many of the BBC shows from the 20th Century has almost nothing if not no episodes surviving in the archives.

Could you also do an episode for recovered episodes telling the story of the recovery
@Chuby1236 жыл бұрын
I've not thought of that and if anything it would be a more interesting one. Thank you

Nice job. Although you keep saying "brought", don't you mean "bought"?

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how he managed that.

I thought that episode 4 tenth planet was actually stolen as it was borrowed for Blue Peter

It's all hit or miss with that story so decided not to include.

5:53 Not entirely true. I just watched the Reign of Terror today, in fact, and there are a couple of seconds of footage in 4 and 5 in the versions l'm watching. And if there are no telesnaps, what are the pictures used as stand-ins? ~ TDG
@Chuby1235 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the question. To answer question 1, the footage you see in the reconstructions is footage from the surviving stories being reused and something I did not add mistakenly there was footage from home video recordings. The images were from surviving footage, they were reused and edited to fit the narrative. -Chuby123

@@Chuby123 Ah, yes. That would explain some clearly re-used photos l noticed in a few cases. Thank you for the answers!

@@Chuby123 No there are also a few snippets or 8mm offscreen film of pts 4&5 from the same reel shot by an Australian fan and given to Jan Vincent Rudski. from whence the clips of The Tenth Planet pt4, Power of the Daleks pt1, the Macra Terror etc come.
