BS! Doctor Who hasn't used the original theme composed by Ron Grainer in 1963, in over four decades. It's always the same theme music based on the original, just evolving over the years while maintaining its timeless allure; modernized with each new Doctor's incarnations. Only true DW fans knows what I'm talking about.

You are correct that it's an old show, but it's not recycling anything. The last season came out in 2024 This is probably just the the first Christmas special to be broadcast worldwide on Disney plus.
