11:35 yeah, the bullets were hitting the back seat, a cleaver way to make it more realistic... instead of the bullets bouncing off a compact car's window.... Put Jack on that side of the car and have him come back to life after being the only one to be hit. Even have him lean in as a shield, the dude's been fighting in wars and against aliens for 100's of years he most definitely will have taken advantage of his immortality to save people he is fighting with.

Having watched every episode with the first Master and third Doctor, I can say...yeah, that's very close to accurate. There's definitely an undertone of dangerously unstable ex boyfriend who shows his "affection" in all the wrong ways and makes a lot of very stupid decisions out of some confused feeling of wanting to both get back together and get revenge for splitting up in the first place. His obsession with the Doctor is similar to the Joker's obsession with Batman, which is also a very "you belong with me so I must destroy everything you care about" dynamic.

That's what I was pretty much talking about. It was like they went on a few dates and now he can't stop thinking about the Doctor and when he finds out the Doctor is stuck on Earth he's like "Oh, he must be so bored, I'll just make sure all the problems come to him! Then he'll *have* to take me back!" It's not literally in the text, of course, but the metaphor works whether intentional or not.

John simm is the most underrated actor ever. Life on Mars is one of my favourite tv series. He is the most versatile performer. From characters as shy and polite and kind as Sam Tyler in life on mars to people as sadistic, crazy and plain scary as the master. Its mad how good he is

They use fictional ship names if there isn't a happy ending and fictional characters too.
