Clara's attitude in Deep Breath made no sense for her character. Of all companions, she knows the most about all the regenerations, different personalities, and what to expect. She even interacted with 3 different ones at the same time. Her reaction to the 12 regeneration was bad writing when it never addressed this.

So I did this a bit differently, I added 3 stipulations to make it work better in a series format: 1) Seasons with less than 13 episodes are spread out evenly so that the opener is still an opener, the finale is still a finale, and everything else is in the same relative place. That means series with 12 episodes skip episode 7, series with 10 episodes skip episodes 3, 7 and 11 and series with 6 episodes skip episodes 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 12. 2) All 2-parters need to stay together. That means I started by making a series with only 1-parters, and afterwards checked if I wanted to replace any 2 episodes with a two-parter that would be in the same spot. Notable exceptions: Flux, the monk trilogy, and Utopia (it’s considered separate from Sound Of Drums and Last Of The Time Lords.) 3) New Years specials go in the “other specials” category instead of the “festive specials” category. This is because they have an inherently different vibe to christmas specials and because that allows the christmas specials and other specials to have a more manageable amount of episodes to choose from. My Best Possible Series: 1) Rose (I just have such fond memories of watching my first ever Doctor Who episode and it does such a good job of introducing the show to new audiences) 2) Spyfall Part 2 (The Master chasing The Doctor through history is something I always wanted to see and that Eiffel tower scene is iconic) 3) School Reunion (I love that this doesn't just bring Sarah Jane back but that it has something to say about the nature of the Doctor/Companion relationship itself and what that means for Rose) 4) The Girl in the Fireplace (Best Moffat episode imo) 5) Fugitive of the Judoon (Not great on rewatch tbh but the reveals push it over) 6) Dalek (No contest on this one) 7) Can You Hear me (Very underrated Chibnall episode) 8) Fathers Day (All the RTD era episodes are fantastic for this one but this is the episode that sold me on Doctor Who as a kid) 9) Satan Pit (The Family of Blood is a very strong rival but since a Paul Cornell episode is already on this list I'll go with Satan Pit) 10) Midnight (This was actually a much easier choice than I thought it would be) 11) Turn Left (Peak RTD writing) 12) Stolen Earth (No contest, this is the most fun I've ever had with a Doctor Who episode) 13) Parting of the Ways (Best Regeneration story ever) Festive: Twice Upon a Time ( I actually love that this is a multi-doctor special with a point to it and something to say) Other Specials: Power of the Doctor (Everything I wanted the 50th anniversary to be)

Thank's for a jolly nice video 🌞 My list: 1. Deep breath. A little piece of brilliance 2. Fires of Pompeii. Donna's warmth and tears is wonderful 3. Rosa. Together with Planet of the Old, one of those episodes that makes me cry. Graham's eyes in that bus. 4. Village of the Angels. An outstanding episode too me. Great casting. 5. Oxygen. That's one of my favourite series 10 episodes. 6. Deamons of Punjabh. Yet another episode that makes me cry. Very well written. 7. The pyramid at the end of the world. To me, the best episode of the Munk triology. Very good casting. 8. Silence in the library. Got hooked the first time I watched it. A personal favourite. 9. The empty child. Great acting skills from the kids. 10. Midnight. Exceptional performances and very scary. 11. Turn left. Yet another episode that makes me cry. Fantastic acting skills. Heaven sent is my 2nd favourite. 12. The Doctor falls. A great ending of a magnificent two parter. Bill as a Cyberman. Wow! 13. The Big Bang. Such a joyful ending. Festive Special: Last Christmas. IMO, it's a beautiful story. Other special: The Power of the Doctor. I was so happy that Chibnal and Jodie could end on a high note. And when the 7th Doctor and Ace had their little chat down in the Volcano, I knew that this would be one of my all time favourites.

so i wanted to give the first 6 episodes equal representation for every doctor, and then give the rest of the series my perfect touches. so be noted that not every episode will be in their exact place, and that's mostly because the rules are slightly inconsistent. also unlike everyone else, i'm gonna have every story be one, so no single parts. 1. the eleventh hour - absolutely brilliant, a showcase of the new doctor and my personal favorite way to open a series. {honorable mention}: the pilot 2. into the dalek - this may seem a bit of a shock but i personally really like this story. also the more capaldi the better obviously. {honorable mention}: fires of pompeii 3. nikola tesla's night of terror - here is our 13th doctor representation, and my favorite story from her era. i love a human individual who can match the doctor's intellect. {honorable mention}: thin ice 4/5. rise of the cybermen/age of steel - had to have a 10th doctor early two parter, and this was easily the best one. and easily the best portrayal of the modern cybermen {honorable mention}: time of angels/flesh and stone 6. dalek - definitely the best 9th doctor representation i could possibly give. he is absolutely brilliant in this revival of a classic enemy {honorable mention}: fugitive of the judoon 7. amy's choice - probably my favorite 11th doctor story. everything about this just appeals to what i look for, an interesting concept complimented by an emotional core. {honorable mention}: a good man goes to war 8: empress of mars - 12th doctor and bill is one of the most chaotic and best combinations in the entire series, and this is easily the best portrayal of the ice warriors we have ever seen, atleast on tv. {honorable mention}: mummy on the orient express 9/10: human nature/family of blood - how does a story like this be so good, i cannot express with words how much i adore this story. emotional yet also funny {honorable mention}: the empty child/the doctor dances 11: turn left - i'm sorry but i need more donna in my life. she is literally everything and this is one of the best character pieces in the entire show in my opinion. {honorable mention}: heaven sent 12/13: world enough and time/the doctor falls - this is my favorite finale of any series. it's an emotional send off for bill potts, nardole, and missy, as well as being one of the best portrayals of the cybermen in the entire history of doctor who. {honorable mention}: bad wolf/parting of the ways christmas special: twice upon a time - best regeneration story In New Who, or atleast my favorite. Sometimes you don't need a big adventure to be an emotional send off for your favorite Doctor. {honorable mention}: a Christmas Carol Other special: Waters of Mars - what else needs to be said that people haven't already?
