The way Rose's theme merges into the Lone Dalek at the end is so perfect and satisfying. Instead of the warm and happy ending to Rose's theme we're surprised by the gut-wrenching choir.

0:00 - 2:20 is also played on "Christmas invasion" & "Age of steel". 2:20 - 3:27 is from "The Impossible Planet" soundtrack. 3:27 - 3:50 is "Rose's theme" 3:50 + is "The Lone Dalek" soundtrack. They all fit so well together!

So it was an amalgamation of different bits of music from other episodes. That explains why it wasn't included on the soundtrack.

actually, 2:20-3:50 is all rose’s theme, its just a variation of it that was included a little in the impossible planet/satan pit. if you look at the 2006 concert however, youll see that its part of the extended version of her theme

Could you do the music used in series 4 at the end of Fires of Pompeii when they are outside the city after the volcano erupts, The Poison Sky when Donna says goodbye to Wilf & Forest of The Dead when all the people have been saved and Donna is reunited with The Doctor, it's a variation of The Doctors Theme but it never got an official release

+Josh Nesbitt 'Magic' No, you can rip the tracks off the DVD's and when you rip it in the right way you can get all 6 audio tracks, some of which have a much cleaner version with just the music and a few sound effects.
